I don't personally expect Mc Donalds to be a tidy place as I know not everyone puts their own rubbish in a bin. But this Mc Ds was by far the dirtiest I've ever been too - Sanitary products on the floor in the toilets, blood on a toilet door, grime of lord knows what but it had clearly accumulated over time and wasn't just something that had occurred that week! We attempted to sit down to eat, but even the seats had sauce on them. Outside wasn't much better with litter being kicked about as people walked in and out. Even the drive-through had cardboard cup holders and straw covers lining the edges... The manager gave us forks with our Mc Flurries, lol, we didn't mention it because he already looked like he wanted to sit in a dark room. It was a hot day, and the atmosphere was chaotic to be fair on him. The only really good part about this Mc Donalds is that the food didn't actually make us ill !! Almost felt like a plot twist when you consider the uncleanliness of the place. It's a shame. Head-office needs to fix up the pay, staffing, and stock!

Had a nightmare visit today. Arrived at empty drive through at 9.15AM. sat a few minutes car arrived behind me. To get staff attention I said 👋 Hello. Got a very rude reply " you'll have to wait" Now obviously didn't get the gold star for customer engagement. A few minutes later asked for my order. Had no cold drinks or shakes. Not the first time 😞. Double sausage MC muffin and bacon one I ordered. Paid the indifferent person at window 1. Went to window 2. A lovely real friendly young lady said it won't be long. A few minutes later she said could I park in car park they would bring my order. Couldn't park in any bays as was full and an artic was making a delivery. So parked as close as I could over the road. Went and waited by outdoor seating. 15 min later a bemused looking man toddled out with 2 orders. No apology, mumbled incoherently and left. Approx total time 25 min. From arriving at order point. Fast food it was not.

I order food on Ubereats, I waited patiently for 2 hours in the middle of the night from 12pm-2am for my order to then be cancelled by McDonald’s, if you cancelled it straight away knowing you couldn’t provide me with my order I could have ordered somewhere else, instead I was left with an empty belly and no other choice of food, if I knew you wasn’t going to deliver, instead of changing your ETA every 5-10 minutes you could have told me so I could have ordered somewhere else, because at 12pm there were many options of food vendors and delivery services, but by 2am I had no options, barring In mind I’m staying in a hotel and we just arrived, hence the reason I had no other food with me or in the property, if this was in my own home it wouldn’t have been as big of an issue for me, but considering I could have ordered from somewhere else and received food, this is the reason it is such a big issue for me.

Visited this morning with my 5 year old son for breakfast , after a long journey . I waited half an hour for pancakes and a muffin, I politely enquired how much longer and several other customers started to complain at their own longer wait , wrong orders , cold orders , even frozen in the middle porridge. These items were taken from them and new ones not returned !!! The staff also took their receipts for the order numbers and just didn’t return them so nobody new the wrong or missing order numbers . They were going crazy at Teresa as other staff members had taken their wrong orders and just carried on about their days . Some were shouting through to the manager to come out from the kitchen for a quick chat but he wouldn’t . After 45 minutes I asked Teresa the staff member bearing the brunt of the many customers unhappiness for a refund instead , she asked the manager to come out and do it for me , he would not appear from the kitchen , she took my receipt , it was now 45 minutes since ordering (my receipt had the order time on it ) to try get my order done , turns out after 45 minutes it hadn’t even started cooking , I again said I’d rather just have my money back , there was now a full shop of customers crowded round the till/collection desk complaining , genuinely the whole place was complaining I didn’t hear or see one happy customer. The manager refused to come out and speak to people , I didn’t get my refund as manager wouldn’t appear to do it or the others that now asked for one BUT after a FULL hour of waiting with a hungry tired 5 yr old my order came out from Teresa , no sausage with the pancakes and sausage and no hash brown with both meals. I just put it in the bin and went the cafe down the road . An old lady was waiting 40minutes just for 2 coffee’s for her and her husband . I use maccies a lot when travelling for work , I’ve never experienced anything like this place before .

The franchisee should get new management immediately this guy is pitiful .I will never return when in the area . And from the conversations going on in the seating area outside neither...

Arrived at the restaurant at ~6.40

Ordered on the self service machine.

A happy meal, a wrap and a mcplant meal.

The machine cannot take payment so I queue at the till. Paid at 6.45.

At 7.00 I see my meal placed in the holding area in the back.

At 7.10 nothing has happened, I ask a staff member. She tells me it is now too cold to serve.

I explain that I have two young children waiting with my wife in the car, cold is better than another 25 minute wait.

Guess which I got?

25 minutes later and after some cojolling attempt number two arrives. The fries are missing, it is not hot.

I ask about the fries and they miraculously appear.

It is now 7.40. I point out that I have waited nearly an hour for order 44 and that order 74 is being served. Perhaps some compensation?

No. Perhaps you could ask the manager who I can see hiding in the back? No he is busy.

After I offer to wait another miracle, he appears. Steve. Assistant manager. No surname because data protection.

He can offer me a discount on my next visit.

I will not be returning.

I can take it up with "customer services". I can Google how to do that.

Not sorry, not anything by way of an explanation. My meal has been recooked and that's that.

I have sympathy for them working in busy conditions, out of season, on a Monday night. That's why I waited patiently. Anything resembling customer service and I wouldn't have bothered to write the review.

I left with one hot portion of fries and three cold meals. I got the impression I ought to think I'd done well.

Cheers Steve, I sincerely hope there is an assistant assistant manager due...

PREVIOUSLY GAVE THIS PLACE 4 STARS. Absolute shambles. People waiting over 2 hours for orders, "manager" not interested - in fact, he decided to take his break while people were queueing up to complain. It took the police to turn up for the manager to begin to sort refunds for those who wanted them! Despite having ordered via the app, I ended up waiting well over an hour, watching the order board, before my order moved over to being "ready for collection" for around 15 minutes before vanishing from the board completely and not even having made it onto the order tray (I had a clear view of what was being bagged up). Asked the "manager" what had happened to my order and he essentially ran away and hid. After another 20 minutes I actually (FINALLY!!) received the order (very well done to the staff member who eventually sorted it out - I would give him 4 out of 5 stars for his courteous manner and service... would have been 5 if he'd remembered the dips) Honestly, they need to take a SERIOUS look at how this particular McD's is being run as, according to the police officers that turned up, it has been like this "all week"! My guess is that the owners of this particular franchise won't give a monkey's about how poorly it is currently being run and won't even bother to read or reply. The only hope is that EVERY dissatisfied customer from the last week or so gives a 1 star review. Should it improve in the future, I will gladly update my review...
