And that's because 1 start is as low as I could go! No wonder this pub has not been reviewed for a while. Great building, very nice staff. All that lets it down is the food. We called for lunch today, and I can say without exaggeration it was the worst food I have experienced in a long time. 5 stars for the effort to make sausage and mash that inedible. The pub has its own brew known as The Tipsy Toad & is a good beer. The beer is very well kept, too. I highly recommend this public house to any visitors to Louth & as a resident, it is personally one of my go-to...

Won't get a third...
