We eat here on a regular basis. Wetherspoons have new items on the menu. When is Cumbria last week we ate at their Keswick pub. I had The Korean Chicken Bowl with Coconut Rice, it was amazing, thoroughly enjoyed it , oodles of sauce and copious sliced Chillies, so much so I ordered it here today. When it arrived there was hardly any Korean BBQ sauce and THREE tiny pieces of Chilli. I spoke to a bar person about the sauce, who only offered that I had to buy a small pot of sauce to top it up !! Yet bottles and bottles of standard sauce are all over the pub. It was only 88p but it was the principal that mattered. And the fact of the lack of chillies. To add insult to injury, the pint of Pepsi I ordered came as half a pint as the other half was all ice.....why use three ice cubes when you can use twelve...... To give the customer only half of his drink, that's why. Let's see if the Manager reads this and replies ? Pictures Available

The actual pub was really nice and well presented, the food was okay, I was disappointed with the jack Daniels burger as it didn't actually have any sauce on it 😔 but it was double stacked and had bacon 🥓 but other than that it was just like a double beef burger but really greasy. Now the reason why I gave it three stars was that there's actually a CCTV camera in the toilets, it's really invasive and quite frankly out of order. It breaches all sorts of ICO rules (that's an entirely different matter) never have I seen a CCTV camera in the gents bathroom before. I didn't take any pictures of the food unfortunately just some lovely Spanish beer 🍺

6 of us have just been in to this place for breakfast and to watch the women's world cup final. Finally got a little bit of sound on only for the 'manager' to rudely come over, snatch the remote off the table and tell everyone there that 'he doesn't care what people think' whilst turning down the volume and turning the channels over in the process. This led to the majority of people leaving the pub. Very rude man and a disgrace to weatherspoons. Disgusted how we and other members of the public were treated at our visit. The man is in the picture and he does have an audio and video machine on.

Absolutely disgusted in the lack of care for young people in this establishment. My daughter and her friend went to eat there last night. They both ordered food, a lemonade and a coke. Their food was served to them then, a member of staff came over and asked for ID. My daughter asked why because nothing had alcohol in it etc (my daughter is 20) the member of staff looked at my daughters ID but her friend had left hers in the car which was parked about 8 minutes away. They were both going to have to leave if she didn't get the IDfrom the car. My daughter went and got it from the car whilst her food was going cold on the table. I am more bothered about the fact it was evident that they were both above age and even if her friend hadn't been of age she would have been with an adult( My daughter). Instead the member of staff chose to chuck their power driven ego about and sent her into the dark to walk alone to get ID they shouldn't have never have needed....

As a group of 6 adults we were unable to order the meals we wanted being told the fryers were broken which seemed strange as you could have chips but you couldn’t order all day the breakfast ,sausage and mash Wiltshire ham , fish and chips no gravy as an extra Mediterranean pizza or salad as no Mediterranean vegetables. After a considerable long wait we eventually got the mains we could order we then took a gamble and ordered desserts 5 in total 4 sticky toffee puddings 1 chocolate fudge cake but told we don’t do custard anymore so it’s plain or ice cream 2 desserts turned up but after an even longer wait and going an asking a member of staff where they were to be told it’s not my problem that’s down to the kitchen and we are busy and he walked away As this is not the first time we have ate there but I have to say for 4.30 on a Sunday afternoon I have never seen it so quiet and empty much better service when it’s busting...

My latte was lovely, the breakfast however was cold, the hash brown looked like it had been refried bit was cold inside. The egg had been cremated on the bottom and raw on the top also cold. The mushrooms must have not been microwaved long enough! They were fridge cold inside. Bacon wasn't only cold it was swimming in grease. I can honestly say there was a table spoon of beans and watery juice. The sausage was warm and surprisingly tasty. I can't comment on service as I don't think a lad walking past and sliding a plate onto the table is actual service. I didn't eat anything other than tasters out of the breakfast. I did mention it to a girl upon leaving. And she kindly offered me a free drink, which I though was quite nice but I was giving feedback and not a complaint. I Paid £5 for breakfast and unlimited coffee, the coffee was lovely. I would highly recommend that. Hopefully they read the reviews and improve on the...
