Balti Tower — Restaurant in East Staffordshire

I honestly can’t believe Balti Towers in Burton exists – and not in a good way. The evening started with a chicken chaat that was….....fine, and that was the highlight. From there it was all downhill. I ordered a chicken Patheya and the chicken tasted like it had been marinated in bleach rather than any spice - I couldnt eat the meat and the rice tasted strange too.

The atmosphere was flat, the staff looked like they didn’t want to be there, and the toilets were so bad that my friend came back looking white and if he had been before food he wouldn't have eaten there. Judge a resteraunt by it's toilet..... 🤢

We left feeling very disappointed - Honestly, it’s just not worth visiting. There are plenty of other places in Burton that deserve your time and money more than this.

Called to place an order and the member of staff was rude on the phone and only said what do you want as he answered the phone. After the order was placed he just said it’s cash only in my opinion i think that should have been said before placing the order. I got there a few minutes before they said it was going to be ready and I paid. Another customer came in behind and said can you make sure the foods hot this time please? After waiting 15 minutes after getting there the food was brought to me and i brought it home. I opened the food and most of it was cold and there was 2 Nan breads ordered one plain and another containing meat but they was put together so if the plain one was for a vegetarian it was next to meat so that would have had to...

Great restaurant, little bit tired but service was good. First timers here, I popped to the Devonshire for a pint of bitter, as it's right next door.

Bear in mind that the restaurant doesn't have a licence so bring your own alcohol.

There is a good deal on, not sure of the days it's on, but for a reasonable sum you get a poppadom, starter and main with rice or chips.

We only had mains and we chose from the 'Staff desi' meal options.

Delicious! Honestly the best curry I've had in Burton. Nice flavoursome sauce with chicken tikka.

Two chapattis, with mushroom rice. Note though the chapattis are more rotis, not a problem but bigger than I'm used to. Go for one and order another if you want.
