Nando's Burton Upon Trent

Came for dinner last night as a treat, and whilst our food was lovely and the lady who took our order was lovely, our evening was ruined by a selection of staff members on shift.

Soon as we sat down a man working in the kitchen and a couple young servers were congregating in the doorway to the kitchen staring in our direction and laughing, whispering to one and other. This went on , on and off consistently for 20 minutes.

Now as we found out at the end of the night from the Manager they knew someone sitting behind us, but regardless we had no idea what was going on. Just our first impression as soon as we sat down was, 2 or 3 staff members staring at us and laughing. Regardless who they are laughing, staring and pointing at , to act this way for a good 20 minutes when they're other people in the restaurant was very unprofessional.

We felt very self conscious, and awkward and unfortunately left their shift before we could point them out to the manager. Whilst the manager was apologetic, it still ruined our evening. Having a person out with us who struggles with anxiety and eating in public places, this entire experience with those staff members left us feeling very uncomfortable and we won't be returning to this Nandos.
