Awful waitress. We stood at the "Please wait to be seated" sign but were ignored by staff. After about 8 minutes it was getting really uncomfortable - I had children with me and was carrying a toddler. I tried to catch the eye of any staff going past. It was weird as usually if a sign says wait to be seated staff are with you quickly, within a few minutes at the most, but we were just being ignored for ages and no staff even acknowledged us. I noticed a couple go past and find a table. Another customer leaned over and told us he just finds his own table as they never come, so we found a table. When the waitress eventually came I mentioned the sign and how long we'd stood there. I expected a simple apology but she just shrugged me off, saying, "Yeah, I know" and asked for my order. I suggested the sign shouldn't be up if people would just be left standing there so long. She just looked angry I was mentioning it. We couldn't be comfortable being served food by someone with that attitude so we left. Horrible atmosphere...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI came in with some friends and we all ordered separately and the same drink. I ordered a large iced drink and both my friends a regular one. As my friend and I were waiting for our drinks and my other friend was ordering, the barista (who I believe was the manager) began making two of the drinks. I politely said to the woman that there would be a third if it was easier to make them all together. The woman rudely turned to me and said āwell I make them separately so it doesnāt matterā. Once she finished making the three drinks she hands them to us and I explain that I ordered and paid for a large. The lady then turns to me and says āwell we donāt even do large iced drinks so you couldnāt haveā however I have receipt proof that I paid more than my friends. The food and drinks at Two Magpies are very very good however I would definitely recommend attending a different cafe than the one in Framlingham purely because of how rude...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe had lunch at Two Magpies in Framlingham on a Saturday, which also happened to be my dadās birthday. It was the first time weād visited this branch having been to a few of the others on various occasions. Itās lovely inside, with high ceilings, and the food and service were great. Iād had the croque monsieur in Blakeney previously, and had to have it again. Itās just incredible. My mum and dad also loved the pesto and tomato sourdough, which they shared, and my wife enjoyed a cheese scone. A great addition...
