White Hart Inn Aldeburgh — Restaurant in East Suffolk

What's not to love...an Adnams Pub with a pizzeria in the beer garden - actual perfection! From the Margherita to the Porchetta, the pizzeria's menu is varied so everyone will find something to tickle their taste buds (they even do kid's options and specials) but it is essential you order a garlic bread with Mozzarella - fresh buttery dough with garlicky cheesey goodness is perfect to soak up any of the awesome Adnams on tap you'd find behind the bar. Inside is small and quaint, despite the high ceilings, and you will definitely see a mix of locals and tourists huddled around tables or sitting on the benches outside. What I really loved was the fact that you could pop next door to one of the county's best chip shops and bring it back to enjoy with a pint. Does life get much better?! It's a very casual vibe with ages varying from young families to older couples, middled aged friends to old mates returning from uni, so all are welcome. Definitely will return when back in Aldeburgh and sorry, no pics of the food this time...it was just too good not to be eaten...

Been coming to this wonderful pub for years ,when we visit on our holiday .my husband just loves the ales .and the atmosphere .

I have 1 complaint that is, I’m coeliac and would really love to see some GF lager .available as most pubs have these available today .

.A GF peroni estrella dura dam… ANYTHING will do 👍this would make my holiday perfect .. Don’t worry about not selling them I shall not see them go to waste.. 😀

I have a medical condition and find it very difficult to get GF fish n chips or pizza also in any Aldeburgh takaway establishments 🙁 available in restaurants though .

We shall be down to aldeburgh in a few weeks and this would make my holiday just perfect and would be really appreciated...

A great location right on the sea front. The room ( superior seaview) was huge with a very large comfortable bed. The bathroom had a double sized shower which was brilliant. Breakfast was a good choice, my husband had the full English which he said was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the restaurant was only open Thursday onwards due to staff issues and is an Indian restaurant. We didn't get to try it as we were leaving on Thursday. The lighting in the bar at night was so bright it ruined the atmosphere so it didn't feel very cosy. But otherwise a...
