Made an order here this evening around 7.30. At 8pm we got the text to say it had left the store and was on the way. After 15 mins went by (I live 2-3 mins drive from this store) I called to ask if the driver was close by to which I was told they were and would be with us in the next couple of minutes. Another 10 mins went by to which I called again to which the girl on the phone put me straight on hold which was extremely rude and not wanting to listen to me. I again called back to which I told her I wanted to cancel I want a full refund to which I was told they cannot do and I have to do this online which I have found no option to do!? I called again at 8.35pm (35 mins since it left the store) to which another girl answered who this time was a lot better to deal with and actually helpful. She said she will sort a full refund and if we still want the pizza we can do for free of charge but didn’t know if or when it would. Read moreA friend and I came to order pizzas however I cannot have gluten, I ordered a gluten free pizza and noticed it have been sliced, this isn't normal dominos doesn't cut the gluten free pizza to avoid cross contamination, so we asked and where told it was an ordinary pizza. We asked for a gluten free pizza again as we knew we ordered one without gluten and they refused, we then asked for a refund and they refused again, we left for a couple minutes then asked if we could speak to a manager who came and listened to the situation, he happily offered a replacement and apologised. The service provided by the workers was quite unkind and impolite, I work in the service industry so I understand it can be tedious but to refuse an exchange or refund out of laziness is disappointing. Props to the manager tho for rectifying the mistake, perhaps the employees need further training to avoid future issues. I don't think I'll come back out of shame of...
Read moreThis evening, I paid for an order for dominos through the app for delivery at 17:04 The tracker kept me up to date with what stage it was at. I then got a notification at 17:48 stating it had been delivered, but no food... I specifically wrote on the instructions to use a buzzer or call me on my mobile.
Thinking maybe they'd hit delivered by accident I waited and then at 18:00 I phoned the store, who said they'd speak to the driver and call me back. At 18:30, I called them again, and the lady on the phone said "Well, it's been marked as delivered on our system, are you sure it hasn't been delivered" I told them I waited but didn't however the lady's tone was as if I was lying. She then said "It has been delivered on our system, so that's that, a manager will call you within 24 hours"
£30.98 isn't a huge amount, however, to be spoken to as if I'm lying is beyond me. I sincerely hope this...
