Seafront Tandoori — Restaurant in Eastbourne

This is the worst Indian restaurant we have ever been too, we ordered a special tan roti which was absolutely tasteless, the rice was coloured with turmeric and tasted like it was cooked last week. The lamb dish was chewy and fatty which kept my husband on the toilet most of the night and morning. The special chicken on the bone was dry, but the sauce that came with it was quite nice. The cider was from a plastic bottle; hence flat and wasnt priced accordingly. The yogurt dip tasted greasy and strange. Very poor food and service. Sent my first prawn bhuna back because the prawns just weren't right and the manager came out to argue with me that there was nothing wrong with them. They replaced it with a chicken bhuna and the manager came back to argue with me about the prawns again! Really quite shocking. It was then the blandest bhuna I've ever eaten. Have been a customer here for best part of 30 years. The treatment received from the manager tonight was appalling. Ordered for delivery, ended up driving and collecting it myself. Over an hour late, and all he said was he couldn't understand what all the fuss was about. "Not my problem the driver is late". Arrogant, rude, and a complete lack of respect.
