…this is for the deep dive review searchers….
200 Degrees is a chain that I’ve visited on multipleyears. Without hesitation I recommend these coffee houses. Beyond the excellent coffee, pastries and sandwiches; 200 degrees facilitates what the future of coffee chains should be. Sincerely giving hope to artisan coffee houses in the U.K.
I’ve always been greeted with a polite smile and confidence. Though, that wouldn’t come close to how immaculate the service is. Most surprisingly, across every 200 degrees coffee house I’ve visited, is the level of quality service that has not only remained consistent, but kept me coming back! knowing that the incredible team will take excellent care of my order.
Specifically about this 200 Degrees coffee house (located at the McArther Glenn Designer Outlet) is its beautiful layout, attention to aesthetic details and a world class service team. Without any attempt to sound “corny” but the affection and compassion between team members makes the Service team actually seem to enjoy their work in and amongst their team. I’m proud to support a business where it genuinely seems like the staff could be friends outside of work as well as professional team members.
(Before writing this review) I was keen to notice anything I could have noticed as a negative or point of improvement. Can you imagine how happy I was to sit back and notice the attention to sanitation, speed and authenticity of every tasks undertaken in extraordinarily busy circumstances.
I can’t wait to visit again! Wishing all those that read this review a pleasant day and a warm recommendation to give this outstanding business a try when passing through York! Excellent Batch Brew!! I...
Read moreWhat can I say? Where do I start. Firstly card only payments. Another controlling outfit taking away people's choices. Then I was asked 3 times if I wanted take out coffee. Or drink in, which I answered 3 times to take coffee out. So obviously not listening. Then you go and wait in the unofficial waiting area, I asked the waitress where to wait and she/her (possibly) said "just tight up against the side"? I waited 5 minutes and asked if my order of a latte was in? Yes yours is next was the reply. To say this Cafe is called 200C due high temperature of saturated vapour discharged -the coffee I was eventually handed, topped out at only 45C. Completely undrinkable, I took it straight back. To be asked if I wanted another, of course I want another, why wouldn't l? I can only imagine the fiasco of trying for a refund when they're unable pour an above tepid coffee for goodness sake, and take on basic instructions, they had also ran out of sugar which I mentioned to the Barista's ( haha). No sugar prevailed. Why on earth do people go there? I won't be returning. That's for sure !! Maccydees retains the best takeout coffee. Oh I didn't have one, but the sausage rolls...
Read more200 Degrees coffee is a great little coffee shop. And it serves the best coffee in the entire shopping centre by a country mile. The beans that they use in their drinks are also roasted in-house. This is very noticeable in the taste of the coffee - with a very fresh, rich flavour. I ordered a cappuccino; it was very refreshing for it to be hot, but not boiling, as they should be (unlike at some of the 'expert' international chains!). It's also clear the baristas put a lot of effort into the drinks they make with - even my takeaway featuring some latte art! The branch itself is very cosy, with a lovely atmosphere (and some very beautiful neon 'fires'. Outside there are also a few covered seats with a patio heater - perfect for these damp winter days! The only downside to visiting this store is that I MUST now visit their other store in the...
