A favourite sanctuary and hangout in Leigh on Sea. It's the only place that I've been able to drink coffee without any sugar - it's that smooth and lacking bitterness. And they've recently they've added great additions to the drinks lineup like Red Latte/Espresso's - redbush tea put through the coffee machine with all the frothy milk of a coffee. It tastes so delicious it should be rationed.
Simon and Ashley run this intimate yet buzzing place with passion and real skill, have devilishly good taste in the music they play, are as friendly and chipper as can be, plus they do a mean sandwich and salad plate at either ÂŁ4 or ÂŁ7.
Go there, or be left wondering what you've missed out on.

Coffee is nice. However, if you're looking for a non-awkward and engaging conversation that doesn't include staff/owner huffing loudly (when you politely ask for a remake because AND your mates coffee taste like dish water) then go somewhere else. Shame as it is local and could be really great and a great social hub, but the number of occasions I've left there feeling not very welcome is one too many. Maybe it's just me. This will only be my emergency place - in case no other options...

We needed a coffee, having had an early start! So glad we chose this cafe. Itâs lovely. Great ambiance and a relaxing experience to be there. The coffee was delicious and so enjoyable.
