Beach Cafe 34 — Restaurant in England

Unfortunately I had a very nasty experience at the Beach Cafe 34, I came in with my 10 years old daughter to have a little lunch, I walked direct to the counter to ask if we order at the table or at the counter, well I didn't have time to ask, a woman in the café started to shout to my daughter because she was heading to the loo, I told her , don't worry she is my daughter, she rudely said YOU HAVE TO BUY SOMETHING IF WANT TO USE THE TOILET!!!!! I said well that it was the idea right! She didn't let me even check before take the table, my daughter just run to the toilet as she is a little girl and didn't think about seat first order and then use the toilet, the woman at the cafe was absolutely rude, arrogant, bad educated and with zero knowledge about customer service or simply not idea what respect is... Sad thing as we are having just beautiful experiences in this beautiful island, my daughter even said to me "mummy I don't think that lady is from Isle of Wight, she...

Poor experience. The food was lovely but minimal - worst bit for us is that at the expensive costs ( over £50 for not a lot ) - it was all served up on disposable cardboard plates and in throw away cups.

Customer service - not friendly. Felt like our attendance was an inconvenience. Attempts at friendly conversation in an empty cafe were bluntly answered and the young waitress could do with some more encouragement to be welcoming and smile. Further attempts to make light conversation by our autistic daughter, again with the young waitress were bluntly ignored. Not even a smile of acknowledgement.

The saving grace was the sausages were of a quality standard and cutlery...

Me and my daughter went this morning and adored it. I got a full English and my daughter got one of the kids breakfasts, when it arrived to our table we mixed and matched our food to suit what she would eat. Reasonably priced, card taken but cash preferred. Lovely staff, we sat near the door on table 9 and one of the women working checked a few times that we weren’t to cold, before leaving we had a little stroke with Ronnie the beautiful doggy. Our table was cleared & cleaned within 2 mins of us being up and having some pet love which I think is amazing that they like to keep...
