Well situated, warm modern humble decor,small enough to be intimate and large enough for a buzzing athmosphere. A simple menu of 5 mains, 5 starters & 5 deserts so you get a good choice without having to spend a long time reading the menu. The chef is a genius. The food lets the ingredients speak for themselves while offering excellent flavour matching. Obviously made from fresh ingredients and cooked just right. Excellent service and food timings between courses is spot on. This restaurant is not pretending to be anything,what you see is what you get and I felt like I had robbed them when I paid the bill. Outstanding… it’s not very often that I’m surprised by a place - but everything I ate, as well as the service, was outstanding.

I had the wagu beef lasagne, venison steak and cheese board washed down with a French Cabernet Sauvignon and it was all delicious… fabulous subtle cumin on the venison and the crunchiest chips… just outstanding… and for some reason… better than I expected in Macclesfield!!

We had an absolutely gorgeous dinner last night at Beef n Berry Bistro! The food is outstanding and the service was fantastic. This is without a doubt, the best food I’ve ever eaten in Macclesfield! For starter I had the ‘Tempura Courgette flower stuffed with goats cheese, beetroot puree & caramelised walnuts’, it was absolutely delicious! I actually can’t stop thinking about it, it tasted so good! My husband who always orders meat starters even said he would order it. The mains were incredible too.
