I came here for brunch with a friend and what a wonderful surprise! Expectations delightfully exceeded, it's such a quirky, cosy and friendly place. Tara looked after us beautifully and my burger, made with buttery, soft chicken thighs was mouthwatering - so much nicer than the usual dry chicken breast I usually end up with at similar eateries. The chipotle mayo (homemade, as is everything there) was perfectly smokey and spicy and the accompanying serving of fries was way too big for me to finish. Bravo!! I was impressed to hear that Gas Station source local and sustainable ingredients and the fabulous cakes - mmmm! I'll be back very soon (can't wait to try the cocktails 😜) - highly recommend! 👏👏👏

Absolutely fantastic cafe! I had cake and it was mind-blowingly delicious. The cafe was selling it under the moniker 'World's Best Cake' and I don't think they were far wrong. I wish I'd bought an extra slice to bring home. It was very moist with a buttercream icing that was just sweet enough. My friend had the smaller of two breakfasts that were available and said it was very tasty. The interior of the cafe is all wood and quirky knick-knacks; there's so much to look at, yet it's still relaxing and peaceful. And the staff are just brilliant. If this place wasn't so far away, I'd be here all the time. Go there, just go!!

I love this place! We are slowly making our way through the menu and are yet to find something we don't like. The Eggs Benedict selection is our favourite so far and we've been back for it many times (I would recommend the Hawaiian)! The coffee is also delicious and it's very easy to slip into the easy-going and friendly atmosphere in here. The staff are always friendly and attentive and I know we'll be going back again soon enough!

Really disappointing visit here today. It was a very brief visit... It was early on a Sunday morning and we went into the cafe, which was not busy, as a party of 6, plus a baby in a pram. At this time the baby was asleep. The staff asked us to sit upstairs but I explained we would prefer to stay downstairs as the baby was asleep, plus we'd have to take the pram up the stairs. We opted to sit at the back of the cafe where there were 3 tables of 4. There was mention of being able to add some more chairs to the table to make a table of 6. My partner got the high chair by himself as by this time the baby had woken up. On about 3 more occasions, we were told we needed to go upstairs and couldn't even sit across two tables as it would "take two tables out of action." We politely informed the multiple staff members we would prefer to sit downstairs and wouldnt like to leave our pram unattended. The cafe was not busy at all. In the end, after what I can only describe as incredible rudeness by two members of staff, we opted to go across the road to All Things Nice, where they immediately accommodated our table, got the baby a high chair, provided a good place to put the pram, and where they were keen to have our custom. (Talking of taking tables out of action, when we left All Things Nice, the rude staff appeared to be sat at a table outside enjoying the sun.. perhaps on account of having driven away plenty of paying customers...) Pity as weve been here before and the...

Avoid. I went here for the first time last Saturday about 1pm. The ground floor wasn’t busy and there were several seats available. Looks beautiful on the outside, but the inside is disappointing and looks unclean. The tables and menus are sticky and there are food stains up the white walls. The decor is very low budget which if the premises was clean and well serviced, I would overlook. Me and my friend ordered drinks which took 10 minutes to come. We ordered two burgers which after 30 minutes of waiting I asked the staff how much longer they would be and nobody seemed to know about our order, so they said they’ll sort it. The food was very obviously low-cost cash n carry food put in the oven, not worth the £12 charged. The lady on the table next to us was trying to get the staff’s attention for several minutes to order. The annoying thing is, there were about 6-8 staff all stood around the till chatting. It seemed an excessive amount of staff for the venue and doesn’t really seem acceptable to have the poor service when there’s no shortage of staff. Needless to say that I won’t be returning here. For all the cafes opening in Macc, I’m unable to see how this one can compete and for how poor our experience was, I can only think that this place exists for...

Food cooked and presented awsome. ambient though, needs improvement. Please do something with the varnish on the tables, it makes them feel really sticky, not a good thing for where you want to put your plate down to eat. I would say when there is availability for proper countryside eggs from locals, just seen the owner bringing eggs from Tesco's. Also, just because you're a manager, should not be so rude and shouting at staff members, specially when your cafe is full of customers. If you panic that you're deliveries are not right, it means you're the one should need some improvement on your skills, not your staff. Those girls are working really hard there. Other than that, compliments to the chef, he/she is doing an...
