I am rating 1 star even though everything but the food was decent. Honestly, the food was nothing worth remembering. I’m not sure if I’ve been given the bad end of the stick but every time I’ve visited it’s not been the best with its food quality. The first time I went was with my partner and we both ordered a starter to share and a bowl of pasta each. The starter was goats cheese on top of a large mushroom and a slice of bread, and this was the only good thing we tried from here. It was unfortunate that it was ~£8 for this medium sized starter though. The pasta came out and I noticed that mine was very salty/savoury. I’m not sure if it was from the cheese but I didn’t enjoy it very much. On the other hand, my partner’s pasta was not flavourful at all and the cost of their’s was £12+! To pay that much for some pasta in tomato pasta sauce was not acceptable! The waitress and service we received was kind and welcoming, which is good. On a separate occasion, I ordered a takeaway collection for lunch. It costed me just under £16 for a portion of pasta and I was gutted. It was tasteless! The dish looked lovely but it was just bland. And this was the final straw of overlooking the imperfections of this place. The person that took my order was eager to help and they were very attentive. There isn’t on street parking so it’s preferably if you park up in a nearby car park and walk down to the restaurant.

I had pork ribs bbq sauce for starters and monkfish wrapped in ham. Portions are big . Service is great. Food wise, I don't particularly loved it. It was a bit too sweet. For Monkfish, i feel like there were a lot of sweet chilli sauce just being too sweet. Oven baked veggies were nice. Toilet can be cleaner. I rate 3 for toilet. Taps were dirty. It clearly hasn't been cleaned for a while. But it wasn't smelly or anything. For a restaurant like that, toilet and sinks can be improved overall.

I went into fina for an early dinner on a Friday We had some garlic bread and halloumi to start, both were nice. The halloumi was good as instead of just chucking some halloumi on a plate it was very well presented. Mains- we had a couple of pasta dishes, last was cooked perfectly and we both enjoyed our overall dishes. I had a pesto pasta with pine nuts, red onions and cherry tomatoes, lovely and not too heavy The service was quick, you’d expect that early doors Friday Enjoyable meal

We came in for a birthday meal. When we got back home within 4 hours later, all 3 of us came down with terrible sickness and diarrhoea and generally feeling unwell. We phoned up the following day to raise the concern as obviously was poor food hygiene! The gentleman denied everything without apologising it has happened. He said we have inspection every year (what once a year) doesnt prove he is going by the standards on all the other days! He blamed it on the birthday cake that I had, which was well in date and only myself had a slice that night, that doesnt explain the reason why the other 2 members of the party was ill. He expected me on the same day of feeling ill to come in and sort it out when neither of us 3 could be away from the toilet for long! Wanting proof on the bill and to see the cake box. Surely he must have the receipt on system! Still no apology by the end of the call and he couldn't get off the call quick enough. After years of eating at Fina and enjoyed eating there, the food quality has definitely gone downhill, it wasn't enjoyable.

The staff kept pestering asking if we wanted anything else when several times they asked, we said no thank you. Trying to get more money from us.

I would really consider what you order when going here. We wouldn't be...

I went for the first time as an evening dinner and was very impressed. There is an area to have pre drinks and the staff are very attentive. The menu is extensive and the food was of a high quality. I have an serious food allergy which was explained to the waitress and after my order had gone to the kitchen a member of staff came to clarify some of my information to make doubly sure my food choice wouldn't affect my health. I appreciated this as my allergy is not one of the 14 recognised allergens so more care needs to be given. The food was excellent, you can tell good quality products were used and well presented. The staff were friendly, helpful with the right level of attentiveness. We were slow at leaving at the end of the evening but weren't rushed to leave after paying our bill. Would highly recommend to any one who hasn't been before and will happily be returning. Great night,...
