All Things Nice is a lovely cafe in Macclesfield, which at first sight may only seem like a small bakery/coffee shop, but after a step inside unfolds to become a lovely cafe/restaurant for a bite to eat, a good coffee and good times with friends.
We came by on a Friday and were looking for a quick coffee on the go, but after stepping inside decided to stay for a pastry and a coffee.
Inside there is plenty of seating. All Things Nice has a very warm atmosphere which is provided by cozy, rustical, wooden design of the place with plenty of attention to detail to make you feel well.
Food was delicious. Menu had plenty to offer, but we settled on a pistachio croissant and a warm sausage role, which came with a nice little salad and some of the best pickled onions ever. Both were very good and are a definite recommendation if you have a small appetite or want something to go.
Service was friendly and quick. We were seated nicely next to the open coffee bar and served quickly too. No complaints on that end.
Atmosphere was good too. As mentioned previously very nice vibe and decoration, though the place was full and it got quite loud at times.
A definite recommendation to anybody. If you're alone, with friends or with family and a party of any size, this is a place you can rely on for good food and...
Read moreLovely staff and building, but lack lustre food with issues from the get go.
Firstly we had to return a pot of tea as the milk provided had turned and produced large white floating lumps. Secondly my breakfast has a series of issues, hard bacon, rock solid toast and a black pudding with the consistency of sand, extremely disappointing and left mostly uneaten. Although and I will happily confirm the sausages were beyond excellent! The steak and eggs ordered by my wife were ok, but I wouldn’t describe it as a steak more of a sliver of beef, very disappointing. Lastly and only a minor point but the glass I was given for my water had a slight white powdery residue in it which I suspect came from the dish washer, not the end of the world but added to all the other issues it just made me sad.
Again I can’t fault the serving staff as they were lovely and friendly dealing with our issues and those of other patrons visiting at the time, bravo to you for keeping a warm smile and a...
Read moreI have given one star for atmosphere. The whole time, we were there today, Sunday. At the back of the cafe, someone had brought a dog . It barked and barked. Really loud, echoing around the long room. It never stopped well for half a minute now and then. Every one near me were commenting on how noisy and loud bark it was. I mean a really loud bark. We there for an hr and more or less barked off and on. Sorry, servers, but someone should have asked them to take the dog, perhaps to the outside table. If we had not ordered, we would have left. Gave me a headache. The manager could not have been more aware of the barking as it did this when the staff took orders to the back of the room where the dog was. Expensive headache, never again. Really inconsiderate dog owners. Staying at least an hr if...
