We found Bellas as we stayed locally and searched Google for a sandwich shop so gave it a try today after seeing a lot of positive reviews, however, it is difficult to believe them unless we visited on an 'off day'.
As a dedicated sandwich shop you surely should have quality bread, but this isn't the case as what you seem to get is a supermarket part baked baguette.
We then had the smallest amount of pre-grated (Dorset!) cheddar cheese, some salad and chutney for £5.95!!

Feeling the need to treat myself I bought a roast beef and horseradish sandwich and a piece of Bakewell cake. The beef was slightly rare (just how it should be) and just melted in the mouth, it was a very full sandwich. The cake was moist and absolutely delicious. £9 for the two items for the amount and quality was very good value. This deli is exactly why I like to support independent shops.    Read moreLove the food here. I had the frittata with 3 salads, one was curry chickpea and cauliflower one was pea and broad bean and one a lentil salad. The better half had the rainbow wrap. All very fresh, colourful and delicious, couldn’t take a picture as we devoured it all, so took a picture of the board outside. It’s market day on Wednesday and Saturday and you can sit outside in Bucky doo square and there is sometimes live music - highly recommend!!
