Me & family went to Cleethorpes beach, and while our way back, we stopped at this Turkish restaurant, which looked amazing, so wanna try food here.
What a food, really amazing, everything cooked to the standard, no burned meat, no overcooked shish everything was up to the mark. I will not forget to mention the lamb chops for the 1st time I eat such delicious chops in the UK, what a delicious it was. Meat was also well cooked. You can feel the taste in each and every bite. Although the menu is quite expensive but it's worth every bit. Ribs were not rubbery. Unlike others,I don't know how much I should praise the menu here. Everything was making me feel like indulging into taste.
Youssef was the person who was serving us truly professional, making sure that we were updated about our order being late as we ordered 4 large platters, and his intention was to serve them all together. This was remarkable as it took some time, but it came to our table all at once. Everyone was on their toe for serving the customer. And I can see the smile on their faces no stress, no rudeness, everyone was taking care of tables assigned to them.
This place was quite busy, not sure if this is usual or if it's only for the holiday period. But, I have never seen tables empty here during my long 2 hours stay. There was continuous turnover throughout my stay.
Ambience is very appealing, I got a chance to peep onto 1st floor, which is yet to be opened, and that is a very spacious hall on top. Due to challenging space, there was congestion, but movement was smooth. Parking seems to be an issue here, but we walked from the beach, so we don't imagine if there was space for parking or not. I will suggest the same if you are visiting the beach then leave your cars and walk to this restaurant it's better.
Overall, my experience was overwhelming here. I was delighted that out of so many eateries here, I chose this as this turns out to be the best one here. Highly recommend to go to this place, you will enjoy the delicious Turkish food it's...
Read moreWe were excited to try this Turkush restaurant, having seen it open a while back but we do not visit Cleethorpes often. A birthday celebration was an ideal excuse to visit and celebration. Was a busy and quite a noisy restaurant on entry, noise from actual customers and the kitchen at the back of the restaurant. There is an extended restaurant upstairs which we decided to go and have a look at before ordering. Upstairs was quieter but no feeling and seemed quite out of the way. We ventured back downstairs and was shown to our table. We chose our food and drinks then tried to chat but it was so noise we gave up and just looked around watching people and the kitchen. Everyone seemed to be happy with their food, seemed to be too many waitresses walking back and forth not doing much really, and then males were bringing the food from the kitchen and serving it onto the table. Personally having beennand worked in many kitchens, Restaurants and hotels, the restaurant is too small and contains the noise from everything thats going on. You do feel you have to shout when talking. Food came and looked lovely. My falafel was a tad over deep fried in my opinion, but i ate it. Salad eas beautiful but had a slightly chlorine taste from the water it was washed in, im guessing not the restaurants fault re. Chlorine taste but definitely a slightly issue in taste. My partner had his favourite turkush meal and said the rice was not that nice, an slight different 'not rice' taste, could not explain it and as i do not like rice i could not sample it. Overall food was lovely, freshly made and we took some home with us. Alittle pricey for main meals but its expected for the kind of restaurant and if only using occassionally.
We will return in the future when not so busy hopefully. And look forward to some more...
Read moreVisiting from Oxford and me not a great fan of Turkish cuisine, my wife wanted to try it. Booking is necessary as I doubt you would be able to walk in and expect to get a seat. Parking is across the road with plenty of spaces. Upon walking in, there was no seating left apart from our reserved table (there is additional seating upstairs) and the server waisted no time in getting us seated. We were given menus and enough time to make our decision before being approached to take the order. The menu was extensive without being mindful boggling and has something for every palate, even mine. Whilst waiting for the order to arrive I watched on with amazement as the owner kept a watchful eye on everything that his staff were doing. The servers were polite, well dressed and very efficient. The chefs (whom you could see from our table were like magicians kicking out plate after plate. The food was preceded by a flatbread two pots of sauce, the order came as soon as the bread was nearly finished. The starters were amazing, well presented and delicious. When the starters were finished the plates were removed before you had a chance to wipe your mouth. The main meal was delivered in a short space of time and everything was cooked to perfection and piping hot. The portion sizes were more than enough and almost too much as we couldn't manage desserts. I am not a tipper but on this occasion I tipped the 15% on the payment machine with pleasure. The prices are very reasonable for what you get and less than the average like for like in my home area. I highly recommend this dining experience to anyone visiting...
