Had Breakfast, Well, Cheap products, Even down to Brown Bread. The Tomato was not right, tasted and smelt of cleaning product, ( not saying i drink the stuff, but if you know). No Salt/Pepper pots just big bottle of Table Salt. Let bloke know of issue and he just denied and disagreed with issues. He managed to apologise to wife as we left. Bit late then. Also, Chair I sat in had sharp rusty edge and ripped my jeans. Place looks OK if you at the Counter, but seated it's worse than a motorway grease spoon.

I am no food expert but at 50 would like to think I have eaten enough to know.

Would I visit again. 100% Not.

Big fan of Fat boy Slim but he needs to look at this place and some staff.

Tell the Bloke, customer is always right, apologise and move on, not...

I was actually really surprised by this place, visited as part of a work team build following a beach clean. They have a good selection of beers on tap, craft beers too. Cold drinks and ice creams. We had a BBQ which was awesome, jerk chicken, burgers, salads it was all really nice. But the staff were brilliant, really nice, friendly and helpful even though it was absolutely roasting and pretty busy!

Good to sit outside watch the water sports at the lagoon, stop off whilst at the beach or while the kids are in the park. There is a decent fish mongers close by and you can usually get a parking space fairly close, even if it's...

Visiting my daughter in Hove and taking my two young grandchildren here, again , I am always impressed by this cafe and it’s amazing leisure park surroundings. Better in summer when the fabulous paddling pool. Is hugely popular. But the cafe has a great menu ranging from snacks to cooked meals and superbly friendly staff. Owned by Fat Boy Slim who is often seen serving and enjoying himself here, David Walliams also turned up and testimony to people of Hove, they were just said hello to and not pestered. Would recommend anyone with young children to visit here for a fun day out with a...

Very friendly staff and a quick service. They’re serving traditional cafe food but as I’m gluten intolerant and vegetarian there was only a cheese toastie that I could eat. It was really chewy and not very tasty at all but I ate it as I was hungry. They could definitely up their game on the toastie and GF offerings front! Having said that my flat white was brilliant, really lovely coffee! Would love to go back earlier in the day and try their veggie breakfast. My dog was given a lovely sausage which she gives 5 stars for and had a fab splash about in the lagoons outside afterwards.

The prices are crazy ! £10,60 for a black coffee and a breakfast bap (£7,60). I wouldn't mind too much it the quality was amazing but sadly not. The fried egg was covered of oil, you was cooked, tye bacon was really abd quality as the sausage, the hashbrown was probably re heated and super greasy. I was so disappointed. Will never order food from this place again. The service, when I asked to clean the table it is almost like that was the first time someone asked for it ! I guess the have plenty of customers because it is close to the play area and owned by fat boy slim.

We are regulars at the Big Beach Cafe and have just used Dan and the team to cater our team event for thirty people over three days in our new offices. The food was amazing. We had several people with very specific dietary requirement and they were all very well looked after. Bob was on hand all day from breakfast to early evening drinks and treated us royally. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Superb work, thank you Big Beach Cafe.
