Hove Lagoon Skatepark — Attraction in Great Britain

Fantastic set up obviously super new and very well mapped out, created. BUT way too busy, a state of chaos and very over crowded. It was Saturday mid afternoon so to be expected I guess. What I didn’t agree with is the amount of weed being smoked mostly by grown men. In an environment where there are children from 6 upwards I don’t think it’s appropriate for grown men to be outwardly smoking dope. Call me old fashioned or just respectful. You decide. A few of the grown men were a little rude about our young son who has only been skateboarding approx 12 weeks. Nice, new, clean. However on our recent visit (sometimes you just can't help it) some elderly lady decided it was a good idea to throw a ball for her 2 dogs across the skate park. Not the best with kids and adults skating with balls and dogs off leads running around.

Think she was out just to have an argument so that she had someone to talk to. Can't imagine why nobody would choose to visit her to talk!

The pump track, being new is spot on. There was pooling of water on one dip only. The rest had all drained away.

I love a plaza so this is my kind of park. Good variety of low obstacles although the down rail doesn't lead anywhere.

Unfortunately the rumours about it being full of kids doing whatever while their parents scroll their phones are true, so aim for an off-peak visit. I went at 2pm on a Friday, it was totally skateable.
