Older woman sat us down at our table and requested payment before eating at this point I should of known we should of left as its clear now why they request payment before dining. The "buffet" is the worst I have ever seen, barely warm 3 choices of stodgy pizza and 2 pastas which tasted absolutely vile. Plates and cutlery were dumped in a pile on our table and were filthy with previous diners food still stuck to them. For the refills we were given cheap plastic throw away cups which were quite small. The staff are very unpleasant and very unhelpful, I then asked where the desert section was (this is usually present at any buffet restaurant I have been to) to be told there is none! Only a freezer on the bar which contained deserts which cost extra, there is no note on the freezer stating this and even witnessed staff taking ice cream from a child at her family table which was absolutely disgusting imo. Upset stomachs all round by all our table and think it's safe to say that we will 100% be avoiding this absolute joke of a "buffet restaurant" in future.
Blackpool Pleasure Beach needs to remove this from its grounds as it doesn't look good on the theme...
Read moreWe had an American friend in our group visiting the UK specifically to visit BPB who has a serious gluten allergy and noting that the restaurant served gluten free options, we visited. When we identified this the staff at the door and throughout they went above and beyond to reassure us of the measures in place and what they would do specifically to avoid cross contamination. They cleared the kitchen with full scrub down and were so delicate with the preparation of the food, making our guest feel so comfortable and reassured. In particular the greeting staff of an older lady and a young gentleman who sadly we didn't catch our names gave wonderful service throughout. Thumbs up for the pizza too!
My friend commented it was the best service she'd had for mentioning gluten allergies in a long time and it really cemented her day at the park. Nothing was a trouble at all, and they went above and beyond the minimum requirements in law, and made all of us feel so welcome.
Thank you to all front and back of house staff on Wednesday - much deserved praise from us all, and it really...

Only place in pleasure beach that offer something gluten free. After waiting over 30 minutes for my pizza we decided to leave and get our money back. After watching them prepare endless pizzas quickly for the buffet.
If gluten free wasn’t a possibility my partner would have eaten a £4 burger from a stall. Now wasting £18 on a Buffet I had to sit and watch him eat and leave with an empty stomach.
I asked them to compensate the fact we only ate here for gluten-free and ended up spending £18 for me to watch my partner eat.
No apology from the staff working, in fact they didn’t even return to the table after us asking for an update. We have to go to the desk after watching the guy we asked doddle round. If they had returned with an update in time it may have been different but nothing.
It’s hard enough being coeliac, finding places to eat and feeling like you’re making things difficult. This didn’t help.
Very disappointing. Would...
