Waff-La-Burg — Restaurant in England

We came across this place while looking for halal food places to eat in Blackpool, so we thought we would give it a try!! Well I wish we hadn’t!! We arrived at the place and took a seat my babies nappy needed changing, so I went to the toilet to change it, however there wasn’t any baby changing facilities, so I asked staff where I could change her and they replied on the toilet, I said there wasn’t any changing facilities, the staff replied “everyone changes them in the toilet, the only place there as in the toilet was the floor!! So I changed her on seating area! We then went to order our food, we asked if they had any kids meals and was told they didn’t know, they was told we can order a side for the kids, I was totally baffled they had high chairs, but no kids menu or facilities for kids! Anyway onto the food, we ordered two burger meals and it cost us £19!! The burgers tasted like they had been taken out of the freezer and fried, the “HOT” cheese sauce was freezing 🥶!! Our food had been on the side for ages, the buzzer they gave us didn’t work!! And they were aware of this because when we handed the buzzer back the owner said oh this buzzer doesn’t work. The staff didn’t have a clue about anything!! The lady who served us was extremely rude and once we sat down she kept giving us dirty looks, so I approached the owner who then told me she wasn’t like this! No customer service skills what so ever!! And to top it off once we got home I have been sick and on toilet several times, safe to say I must of got food poisoning from there!! This place is trying to hard to be Archie’s!! But you can’t top that! Maybe if they had spent less money on getting two private plates and the tacky interior they could get staff who knew what they were doing and babies facilities! Why they have Highchairs when they don’t even have a kids menu is beyond me!! 😠😠 Don’t waste...

I came all the way from Denmark to try this place. I must say it was extraordinary than I had expected because of the earlier reviews. But I will say people need to try this place themselves before they leave a review. Unfortunately many people today show their jealousy through social media's. The place is new, yes so give them a chance to deliver the good quality after some time. We learn everyday for the betterment. Reading some harsh reviews and not trying the place is like judging the book by it's cover. It also depends on individuals what you are here for, to enjoy everything or just to through rubbish on the place Don't forget these people are well settled, they are popular the world knows them from their Tiktok. Of course they have jealous people around them who got chance to show their jealousy, and point fingers through their burgers. That's so low.

Notice: People who are investing huge money, in a huge business will they serve you frozen burgers? Look at the atmosphere inside it feels like you are in heaven, a florist garden, with those colors, I love the color combination. It doesn't make any sence. Yes, we can talk about service, ( that they can work on, hire more people and train them more and more) and limited place that's good to hear that means the place is very popular and growing towards succes. And they should maybe buy something bigger for more sitting areas. Call before coming to the place, Food prices are very reasonable,

*Visited on a Saturday evening * Its just at the entrance to the blackpool lights Blended amongst the hotels, possibility of driving past Entered the premises to a young man at the till He was friendly and welcoming

The place was very quite I think there was only one family inside It was awkward as to how quite it was for a Saturday evening

Anyway, ordered the chicken burger, beef burger and saucy fries

The prices are dear in this places Averaging around £8-£9 a burger meal We have paid more and are happy to pay more if the food is worth it.

It was disappointing that the food was tasteless, just your regular burgermeals you get in uncles local takeaway for £5. The saucy fries where just, chips marinated in peri sauce with jalapenos on top. They were £3.99 a portion.

Either they need to give more for the prices they charge or need to bring prices down.

We bought dips for 30p each. A bottle of sauce costs less to buy from shop to serve 4 people than to buy dips to cover 4 people eating there. They should consider giving sauces for free to each table, should they continue charging these prices

Great decor and customer service Shame about the food price and portion

Milkshakes were £5.99 Sounds like a mark up of 100%. Need to bring this down, to sell more in the long run

Would not go again and recommend to anyone unless needs must Far better along the way
