The most amazing place to enjoy a whole day out and want more! Pleasure Beach caters for all, with Nickelodeon Land for the whole family the extreme thrills of The Big One and Infusion all the way to the splashes from Spongebob's Splash Bash as well as Valhalla.
Highlights: 1. Possibly the best valued amusement park in the world! There's over 100 attractions for a maximum price of £32! No-one will have nothing to do. There's relaxing rides for the young/old and exhilarating rides for the brave. There's no need to buy food from the park or stay there all day as you can leave and return whenever you like. There are many great offers whenever special events are on that can save you loads! The food tastes excellent, plus there's a lot of variety. The staff are always helpful, there are a few though that are a little rude. Queues rarely ever become longer than one hour, even if they do there's over 40 other rides to ride on to pass the time. The park has cleaned many areas extremely well over the past few years.
Lowlights: 1. There are few thrilling flat rides left. The rude staff can be extremely rude. For example some have been seen swearing but recently staff that have been reported as abusive are being punished and some have even been fired.
The park is great, it ticks all the boxes that people want or need. Just go for the possible best experience of your...
Read moreNickelodeon land pretty much resembles the original children's section of BPB ,and still looks old and dated . The only new thing it offers is the price and where as before you could have a stroll round it at no charge now they want to charge parents to take their children in . Blackpool doesn't seem to have invested much in anything apart from the new prom and the whole town looks as it did when I was a kid. On a recent trip with my kids (the last I will take) the place was a mess with areas smelling of urine and the lights were a joke loads of them didn't work , but this was probably due to their age because they have been the same for years and as the night drew in I made the decision to leave as the place can't be trusted cos its full of heavily drunk stags and hens frankly not the kind of place I want my children to be . All in all Blackpool is tired ,old, dirty , expensive and mainly caters for ppl who want to get drunk and the only reason I gave it 1 star was so I could leave this I will not be returning again if I can help it until it does more...
Read moreBlackpool Pleasure Beach is looking dated now, and in desperate need of investment. The park itself has some decent rollercoasters, with the new Icon ride certainly the highlight of the park, but other rides look and feel extremely rickety and painful to go on.
Despite the amount of no smoking signs in a clearly child-centred area such as the Nickelodeon section, there were countless people flagrantly disregarding the rules, chainsmoking like Dot Cotton on speed. Similarly, there were many strong whiffs of weed around the park, and these really detract from the overall experience (if you aren't an aspiring Marlboro...
