Made to feel very welcome. Delicious food, even when the seats were full we were told exactly how long we would have to wait for a table and they were usually right. Liked it so much went back a second time. My friends had soup and said it was tasty. They even shared a soup and panini between them and they split the soup into 2 bowls! . The paninis were very enjoyable. The jacket potatoes with delicious fillings were amazing. The cakes were yummy. Definitely go for the fruitcake. Best, millionaire shortbread I've tasted for a long time and the lemon and blueberry cake was delicious. Very friendly service. Food came quite quickly. Nice buzz about the place. Lovely Christmas decorations...

Literally the most loveliest staff team ever! We came for breakfast, and we (including our dog) were welcomed with big smiles. The breakfast was amazing and the team were clued up on gluten free needs which is so good to see. Also one of the best dirty chai teas I’ve ever had! The whole team, including the chef who popped out into the dining area, were incredibly attentive and friendly and it really did make a lovely atmosphere. Even our pooch who had his own little spot in the corner was waited on with water and biscuits. 100% would recommend and will definitely go again when next...

What a hidden gem this place is. Amazing food, and even better service. We went in here today to escape the rain with two very wet cocker spaniels and a hangry 1 year old. The staff were amazing and seated us straight away even though we must of looked like drowned rats 🫣. The staff were great with my daughter bringing her some toys out to play with, They even grabbed my little one slices of cucumber and a babyccino to match her mummy. I wish I could give more than 5stars, highly recommend for parents with little ones and dog owners! Thank you again, We will certainly be...

Lovely cafe, yummy food & drink & great customer service, staff who take the time to chat to customers. We went yesterday & had delicious paninis, went back today for coffee & cake- well worth visiting again, the savoury cheese scones & cake both lovely. Will definitely visit again when we’re in York- a wonderful small, independent business who really seem to value their customers (including remembering us from yesterday- not many places in York do that!)

Popped in for a Breafast Sandwich: Bacon, Egg, and Sausage. It was delicious. You could taste the quality in the bacon and sausages, especially. With an Americano Coffee, it came to just over £10. Really nice, friendly vibe, in here with polite, professional staff. It's situated centrally, in York City centre, but amazingly, off the beaten track, so a little gem for those in the know 😉 Highly recommended and will always pop in here for a light bite 👍🏾

Lovely independent cafe in York I found on my way to the station. It was a cold day with a smattering of snow, the staff were so friendly and welcoming. They had regulars and greeted them all by name , I thought it was lovely 😍. My cappuccino was lovely and my veggie breakfast bap was fresh and delicious. The array of cakes and savouries looked mouthwatering. Glad I stopped by. Forgot to take a pic of my bap though 😆
