If we could give zero stars for this place we would.
We walk in and are seated quickly onto a table which had a drink previously spilled all over it. The waiting staff instead of changing the table cloth attempt to hide this with the salt and pepper. Decor looks nice but looking deeper into it once seated the wallpaper was scruffy and the walls have marks up them, not forgetting the tacky fake rose as a table decoration (the price for the food at this place is ridiculous!!!- you would expect a fresh flower on the table everyday for what we paid)
The two of us had one main course each and both had a coke with a rice to share and it was almost £40. We wouldn't mind paying this if the food was good however both curries had skin on the top of them due to lack of urgency to serve by staff. Who spent most of their time chatting to each other at the bar.
The restaurant states it has a hygiene rating of 5 on the front entrance, but I spotted numerous flies while eating. We felt regret as our local Indian takeaway would produce a higher quality meal for...

So my dad visited on 14th May 2016 with some friends and had a specific request that his food did not contain nuts, or any nut oil due to his nut allergy.
They said this was fine, and they would serve him a chicken tikka in a tomato sauce. He began to feel unwell during his meal, he didn't finish it but put it down to the spice. He came home and his entire face had swollen, as well as his throat so he was struggling to breathe. He was took to A&E, and had to stay in overnight and was given adrenaline.
The incompetence is something which should not have even happened. If a customer has a dietary requirement, this needs to be of paramount importance and a customer should not be spending a night in hospital due to...
Read moreFirst of all, shout out to Mo, our server, who made our evening with his easygoing humor, and efficient service. We even had in-jokes by the end of the meal - really cool guy. The food was great, with generous portion sizes (my wife and I got two entrees and a bit of poppadum / rice, naan, and we had tons of leftovers). The curries (we got paneer, and a lamb dish) were sweet, very fresh-tasting, and served piping hot. We picked 'mild' curries because we're wimps and it was the perfect case of mild heat but not mild on flavour. We got four sauces on the side (maybe free with the pappadum or maybe just free) which were ALL delicious. Overall, fantastic experience, and we would...
