I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the conduct of a staff member named Sonia at your Gerrard’s Cross Caffè Nero branch. On two separate occasions, I have experienced shockingly unacceptable service from her. During both visits, Sonia threw my drink away in front of me—without cause or explanation. This wasn’t just dismissive; it was deliberately rude and wasteful. I was left confused, embarrassed, and without what I paid for. When I attempted to politely ask what the issue was, I was met with an abrupt and hostile attitude that made the experience not only uncomfortable but deeply upsetting. Her behavior is completely unprofessional and contrary to what one expects from a service environment. As a paying customer, I feel disrespected and ignored. I strongly urge management to investigate this matter seriously and take appropriate disciplinary action. I do not believe a second chance is warranted after multiple incidents. No customer should be treated this way, and I hope you value feedback enough to ensure this does not happen again—to me or anyone else
Update: 09/06 4 out of 5 stars are for Anna! The first star; read above!
I wanted to take a moment to follow up on a previous review I wrote about Caffè Nero in Gerrards Cross. After returning recently, I’ve had a completely different and much more positive experience — and I felt it was only fair to share that. I’d like to add; I’m avoiding Sonia!!!!
The food has been consistently fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere is exactly what you want from a local café — relaxed, warm, and welcoming. But what’s made all the difference this time around is Anna. She’s truly the heart of this place. Her kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail are unmatched. She not only makes the best drinks (seriously, her coffee is spot on every time), but she also creates a genuinely welcoming vibe that makes you want to come back.
While my previous review may have reflected a moment of frustration, I now see the bigger picture — and I’ve happily changed my mind. I’ll be returning to this Caffè Nero because of Anna. She turned a negative first impression into a genuinely enjoyable experience. Thank you, Anna — you’ve...
Read moreHorrible rude staff Elouise 😩 We have been to this branch many time as staff here is generally very nice. Elouise was rude as soon as we entered, she raised her voice that we are not allowed to order on app. So we ordered on counter. We asked if we can get online Stamp when we asked for Stamp( as we wanted to get online stamp) she just again showed frustration and yelled again without listing to us and stamped a new card. But not explained why we can’t get online stamp.
We normally have second round of coffee and did it online as we wanted our stamp to be on app and not on card. She gone so angry on me She had no patient to even explain without showing frustration that why can’t we we order on app and started giving reasons rudely. but this time She made the worse cappuccino in takeaway cup and dumped it on collection table and kept serving other people after me. and didn’t inform while I stood waiting for 5 min in front of her, even though I requested it to be made in a mug and not in takeway cup. Later again yelled and said your coffee is there .. She pointed rudely , When I asked where ? Saying there is a sign for click & collect , which was hidden in front of cleaning bottles.
She made us feel so...

What makes this place of excellence so exceptional is the staff. They are friendly, welcoming and intelligent under the professional guidance of the young store manger. They are all a credit to the company.
If the day is hot or cold I would recommend dropping in to relax and soak up the friendly atmosphere whilst you enjoy your refreshing...
