Cambridge Cafe — Restaurant in England

The food is ALWAYS excellent, we had a meal there last saturday. Cafe nearly empty but female staff member still sat us right beside the front door when there were better tables available. The menu understandably is much reduced unfortunately and has increased in price noticeably lately by app £2 per meal. Don't know if this can be justified as cafe still not changed except perspex barricade around the till !!. I should point out that the same waitress charged us for 4 meals when we had a child with us the last time we visited and we shared ours with him so should only been charged for 3 meals, yes it was our fault as we didn't notice until later. The young gentleman waiter however is as usual always faultless, pleasant, polite, no issues at all. Finally straw that broke the camels back how can you charge £2.20 for a small tin of coca cola !!. When paying for the meal I wasn't offered a receipt either ( by the female staff member surprise surprise) Really Sorry really good food, but the customer service is questionable as well as the prices. I would recommend anyone to visit this cafe/Chinese in Harrogate.The location is on the opposite side of road where McDonald's is located. I ordered the big breakfast and glad I did as it was superb and really tasty and the chef cooked it to perfection. I could tell that all parts of the big breakfast from the sausage and bacon to the large beefburger and chips too were quality products. There are also smaller breakfasts on the menu if you prefer. There are also many Chinese meals you can choose too. I was glad that I found this place because the service was exceptional which was a nice surprise and the food I ordered was very clean and hot,so if you are looking for quality food at a reasonable price with great customer service you won't go wrong by visiting this place even if it's just for a cup of tea,you are still made welcome.
