Wow this place is an absolute treat for anyone looking for an old school take away chip shop that offers gluten free options.

You know they take it seriously when there are dedicated menu boards that literally offer everything as a gf option, even scraps!

None of the usual p#£sed off looks when ordering and the standard comment " it will take 40 minutes extra for gf orders, whilst you are left waiting awkwardly...." Ordered, cooked and served in less than 10 minutes, what a joy, I felt like a normal chip loving fatty.

So the service was first class and guess what? They smashed the food out of the park! Crispy golden batter that clung to the fish, lovely chips and a pot of peas that were seasoned to perfection.

Ordered online for collection. Collection time stated 20 mins. We were stood in the shop for a further 20 minutes upon arrival. People were ordering and leaving with the same order as ours ! When we spoke up . We were told it wouldn’t be long. Eventually one of the staff said something then suddenly they all started rushing . They obviously forgot my order …their was no apology or explanation…why have an online order option if the staff merely overlook it . Food was nice but the service this time was quite disappointing for me ..

Large order for a big family meal (on holiday). The food was very nice- especially the fish. Staff were friendly on our initial visit. 2 sausages were missed off our order which I didn't realise until I got back to the holiday house, so I had to go back to pick them up. This meant that some of us ended up eating separately which took the shine off the 'treat'. And my meal was cold by the time I got to eat it. It wasn't a major deal and I didn't complain but an apology would have been appreciated rather than a grumpy scowl when I returned to pick up the missing sausages. I'd recommend the food but double...
