We went on a Sunday , when given chips (masala chips) , they were cold and clearly old. Thus, after telling them , in all fairness they offered new ones to us . But , even when we were given them , we found that they were just heated and not fresh. It was a very similar case with the chicken tikka in naan, where it felt stale but just warmed up again. Really disappointed with our experience this time.

Went to Chaiwala on East Park Road Leicester this morning. Ordered the breakfast, the coffee tasted like Chai, and the Chana tasted bit sour. When I complained to the staff he insisted that it was not Chai it was Coffee. I know it was not Coffee because I usually go to their Evington Road branch (Leicester); and I came here because the Evington Road branch was closed this morning for some reason.
I took few sips of the so-called coffee and lef it on the counter and told the staff it was definitely not Coffee, the staff member still insisted it was, I told him you must have done something with ingredients (or machine) because it does not taste right, and Chana tastes sour, it’s not today’s. He said it was made today. I left the so-coffee at the counter, the only the staff had to aay was he will pass on the feedback. Who cares if your pass on the feedback; I’ve wasted my time and £10.75 of my money; hope the take away I ordered won’t be as bad as the breakfast.

Subhanallah, you know to the best of my knowledge and from what ive seen, businesses that obey Allah, barakah is given to them. Everytime I visit there is such a beautiful vibe. God I love the muslimhood and no music which is displeasing to Allah. The lighting is beautiful and its on a busy road. Think of being in a cozy coffee shop in New York. Probably so good when its quiet. I can only imagine the vibe after Fajr in the winter with snow outside ❤️. Anyways yes these lots food is nice, tea and everything is good. Inshallah you will enjoy. Please dont change and may Allah increase this business in success. The servers are so chill man, may Allah bless em. Im not from Leicester and this is one place im always happy eating in. I would actually love to work in a chaiwala one day inshallah. Also the shop almost always has people dressed in clothing that shows me that their believers. Its so comforting and homely...
