WOW 😲 Since being recommended to go here, we've been twice and it has not disappointed. The food is fantastic - cooked fresh to order, soooo tasty, generous portions, and well thought out. It's always busy - they are constantly having take away orders and people coming to collect - definitely say this is more of a takeaway than restaurant, but we come from Melton Mowbray so do sit in to eat, there's a couple of tables and although not overly fancy, it's clean and comfortable (Aircon is also great!) If you are into Indian fusion food, highly recommend coming here - the pizzas are 10/10, great price and loaded with sooo many tasty and creative toppings to choose from! Great selection of wraps and kebabs (couldn't believe the Lamb kebab was veggie!!) all generously stuffed with salad and sauces. The chilli chips are also banging - Goldilocks vibes here! Not too hot, not too mild, just right, and the coriander on top just compliments the spicy sauce. Staff are friendly and attentive, and very busy taking orders! One thing to note, they only take cash or bank transfer so bear that in mind (I didn't realise this until after I ordered!) Today I find out they changed the fishburger, I ordered a double half pounder and got 5 fish fingers. I asked what happened they said it was changed 4 months back and that's the new burger (am not thick that isn't a burger let alone 2 which is what i paid for). It can't be possible as I clearly remember ordering it in Dec. All I got was am sorry the burger isn't available and that's the new burger. I said you should inform your customers. We order from Mr. Veggie regularly and the service is always polite, courteous and attentive. The food is quality and the meat substitutes are delicious. Most people stop eating meat for the ethical reasons - and I would argue that most enjoy the taste. At Mr. Veggie, you receive good quality vegetarian/vegan food that gives you the taste of meaty products like burgers/kebabs, etc without any of the guilt.
