Clarence Restaurant & Cafe — Restaurant in England

We have been useing clarence reastaurant for a long time now. So thought id do a new review. Even after the covid 19. Virus. We have continued to use the clarence cafe. His food and service has always remained the same. If not better. The food and service has remained high. And we always see the owner and his staff clean the tables.He now does table service. And the staff all wear face masks. They now come to the tables to take your orders. And if table is not clean they will gladly wipe the table down. But the owner has told me, that as he knows i have done several review about local place. That he has noticed he is getting negative reviews about poor service. And rude staff. And bad food. He is shore that he never gets complaints from all his regulars. And that a lot of it is negative feed back from the fish n chip shop a few doors away. As they both have clarence restaurant in there company titles. I have been in the chip shop myself, and know what people think. As have had it happen to my partner and myself a couple of times. If you write a complaint. Please make shore you put the right name in the complaint. As i know the owner and his staff work very hard to keep everyone happy. Not just his regular costom. But all his costomers. Have been going to this cafe for over a year now, and have never heard a costomer moan about the food,drinks,afters, roasts,pie and mash, and deffanatly not about fish and chips or mushie peas. For a start this place is wheelchair accessible if you can go up quite a bump and the inside is tight for turning Staff were super helpful moving the spare chair though their menu isn’t extensive it had a satisfactory range most I could not try so I went for safe rather than risk my allergies kicking in The bacon was well done just the way I like it and the chips hash browns and mushrooms were also very good Overall the drop down when coming out of the entrance was a tad dicey as was the bump up but the delicious meal more than made up for it One point to remember this place...

Today I visited Clarence Street cafe, I would of posted the whole of the plate when it arrived but forgot lol but I had scampi and chips, and my partner she had, burger and chips, she's a picky eater but she loved it so much she empty her plate and I had finished mine too, the cafe is a beautiful place to sit and have a lovely meal its always a pleasant experience being here never had any problems and the people and atmosphere is nice 😊 keep up the great work all and thank you from us both for a great meal much appreciated 5...
