Utopia Coffee Lounge — Restaurant in England

It is important to support the independent shops where possible, but lines do have to be drawn when absurd charges are added. This has happened with me with Harris and Hoole who changed their stance on the issue.

I went in and ordered a cup of tea which h was £2. However the woman said that will be £2.25 as I am having soya milk and soya milk is 25p extra Utopia, can you not see the absurdity of this? If I ordered a large latte with soya milk it is still 25p extra. My tea has a splash of soy, not 3/4 of a cup. This is daylight robbery. Now I cannot support you because of this and have to use a chain. Or maybe bring my own soya milk but you will probably say that is not allowed.

It is a tea bag with hot water tipped over it, the tea bags are pennies, you are still making good profit even if you tip 10ml of soya milk into the cup.

A quirky and unique coffee shop.

I needed a caffeine fix before my journey back to London.

My walk from Thorpe Bay suggested I checked-out this place. I am big advocate and fan of supporting local businesses vs. big organisations.

All staffs behind the counter are kind and friendly. If I didn't have a Mr Whippy iced-cream beforehand I would have opted for one of their baked treat. I was super tempted but declined.

This is a cash-only establishment and I did have a note to pay.

I opted to sit outside but the inside is very unique and full of all sorts of interesting items and seating. Even the till is old-school and funky.

My coffee (oat-americano) was priced fairly and super hot; just the way I like it. I consumed and people watched outside.

Absolutely disgusting!!! First of all, the tables are extremely unsanitary and have not seen them be cleaned once.In addition to this, I would like to inform you that my dads order had been denied, for no reason whatsoever. They had NO right to do this as they would have not been able to detect that the people eating subway outside were his daughters. Your staff have disgusting manners, especially to Ukrainians like me. Take that ukrainian heart down right now!! You all have NO respect for anyone at all and the “We stand with ukraine” is just a ‘trend’ to you guys. GROW UP.
