Went here for the first time with a friend a few weeks ago, as a pre-Mother's Day get together for brunch. We both ordered a plate of pancakes. She had the chocolate banana pancakes, and I couldn't decide between strawberry or blueberry pancakes, so the staff at Commun'ull were so kind to let me get both! I was also pleasantly surprised to see their pancakes were American style pancakes, and not the usual pancakes (crepes) that are normally sold around.
Pancakes were soft, fluffy, and cooked perfectly, they came covered in syrup. Strawberries and blueberries were so fresh and yummy! Cleaned my plate completely, couldn't leave any to take back home if I tried lol. We then grabbed ourselves some baked goods from their counter, I grabbed a slice of their lemon cheesecake to take home for later.
Later eventually came around, and let's just say, I was immediately smitten by their cheesecake!!! Like, I was kicking myself for not getting 1 or 2 more slices because I knew that 1 slice I brought home wasn't going to last very long lol. It was by far one of the BEST cheesecakes I've ever had the pleasure of tasting in my life!! Nice thick, hefty slice of cheesecake, yet was perfectly creamy and light; like no other cheesecake I've ever had!
(Now normally you'd get a thick slice of cheesecake from somewhere and know right away that it's a rich and dense cheesecake from the first bite. Those ones are still a great cheesecake, but sometimes that density doesn't sit well in the tummy). This cheesecake from Commun'ull though, does not weigh heavy in the belly after consumption, and isn't overly rich either! Hands down, the lemon cheesecake from Commun'ull is something I'm going to be lusting after for weeks and months to come...
I came for the food (which was fantastic), but I'll coming back again & again & again for their baked goods, especially their cheesecakes!!! So be careful because they are incredibly ADDICTIVE (but soooo...

Still plenty of choice and a selection of home made cakes which all looked delicious. Reasonably priced. Would certainly recommend for...
Read moreA well needed asset to Chants Ave. I've wanted a nice little pub down there for many years and this feels long overdue. I hope they get plenty more local beers in, continuing from Bricknell Brewery. It would be great to carry on trying new and different beers here. I'm willing to bet the food...
