Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

“Always excellent! Great service, great coffee, 5 stars of course!!” This was the review I placed 1 year ago and I gave 5stars, but today ....

“1 star is too much!”

This is not the first time that when we were there, cold, the drinks were cold, the food warmed up but still cold, and the temperature indoor were cold too!

This is not the first time, they ran out of cups, forks, milk, cream, even staff! Either only one staff working one to one with long queue of customers, no cups need to give you takeaway cups instead, no forks need to give you plastic forks instead and even no cream and milk for your drinks! Or, or you see 3 or 4 staff walking around chatting about without anything to do!

This is not the first time that we need to wait for sooooooo long to a very roughly made coffee which obviously made and served by some new trainees (you can see new faces every week!) can’t find where on the till the food we want to buy, need the time like he/she’s Christmas shopping on the internet!

We had enough of going to a Costa as bad supervised as this. Absolutely not professional at all, shame on using the brand if the supervisor carry on running the cafe like this! There were used to be lots of hard working skillful staff there at least half a year ago but not any more I’m afraid.

Will absolutely NOT recommend to anyone else at all, the two other branches at Scunthorpe have everything a lot better than this...

Came today to Costa Coffee in Brigg and it was absolutely riduculos! Have ordered two drinks - Salted Caramel Frappe and Strawberry Frappe. During my order I told, that I would like a decafinate drinks. Miss, who worked on the till told me, that "Yes, we are making decafinate as well', so I have ordered. It was a pick time, so we waited quite long time and finaly they made us the wrong drink. So, we waited more. Finaly we recived our order, went outside and I decided to try (because drinks were for sisters) and turn out that it is JUST milk with strawberry dopping and cream on the top. For 4.30 £ each!!! I returned to caffee and decided to clear up the situation because is is ridiculos! In my point view decafinate frapuchino this is drink with decafinate coffee (espresso or instant coffee), but I didn't expected to recive drink without coffee at all! It was just milk and doping! I tried to figure out the situation with the stuff, but they were quite busy to give me a time. The lady, who worked on the till, just squized between us and went away. I am so sorry, but I am quite dissapointed by service in this caffee. I hope, my rewiev will help to improve...

Very busy coffee shop and the usual overpriced offerings! Quite a few people in the que waiting a long time to be served with their drinks, we were sent to sit down and wait for them to bring ours over. Every seat was taken until we got right to the back by the toilets. (Which one was out of use due to not flushing) The staff were very transactional, putting the drinks down on the table next to us. The cups were all wobby from the plastic, possibly being put somewhere hot and melted the flat base. No conversation or pleasantries were made or any attempts to be made welcome.
