The Loft Restaurant — Restaurant in England

We went for breakfast as a change to our usual place. Wish we had not bothered. We were greeted with a sit where you like!! No hello. Then as soon as we sat down menus were put down and we were asked what we wanted to eat before we had chance to look at the menu..We ordered poached eggs and they all came fried. When I inquired about the mistake the waitress rolled her eyes and said it would be 15 minutes before we could have fresh poached eggs. There was only the 3 of us in at this point of time. We declined due to the waitresses attitude. My mother in law asked politely for another coffee and was sighed at. At this point we decided to leave. Very nice restaurant inside. Went here because a friend recommended it. We were with some other people. We placed 2 separate orders. Our friends got their food quickly. Ours didn't come down the dumb waiter for another 20 minutes. The girl then took my breakfast to another customer. She left my son's cooked dinner on the side. She then realised her mistake and rang upstairs for another breakfast. My sons meal was sat on the side all this time while another breakfast was cooked. When he got his meal it was cold and wasn't even nice. We complained. The girl said "well what do you want us to do?" Very rude. We had to go somewhere else to get my son some food.
