I would like to raise an issue regarding an unpleasant experience on the 23rd June. During our visit we were extremely disappointed to find that this Costa was experiencing a noticeable fly problem. Several flies were hovering around the seating area and the food display, this not only made the environment uncomfortable but also raised serious concerns about hygiene and food safety, We had intended to enjoy a relaxing coffee, but instead found ourselves distracted and concerned about the cleanliness of the premises, the staff did explain that the air con wasn't working that day and this was a contributing factor. Five days later on the 28th we revisited only to find the problem had not been rectified plus the bin behind the prep area was full to overflowing which could exacerbate the situation. Given Costa's strong reputation for quality of service, we found this experience unacceptable, twice in one week. I believe it essential that all branches maintain a clean and hygienic environment for customers, a visible presence of flies can be an indication of deeper sanitation issues, and I trust they will now treat this matter with the seriousness...
Read moreThis is my go-to Costa - it's local, and I love that I can opt for the Drive-Thru or Click and Collect. I've never had a problem with the Drive-Thru, this has always been a quick, easy and pleasant experience.
Dining in is also okay, although it can take a while to be served due to the volume of customers instore and in the Drive-Thru, so can be slow.
Generally Click and Collect is okay, but I have had a couple of occasions where I order on the app, and still twenty minutes later my order isn't ready, so I've then had to join the queue. On the last occasion this happened, I waited about half an hour and it still wasn't ready, so I joined the queue and asked the lady at the till about my order. It hadn't been prepared because one of the three items was out of stock, but I was not told this, nor was my order cancelled/refunded. So I paid for three items, but was only able to take two away. They are unable to do a refund instore, and it is very tricky trying to find online how to contact anyone at Costa to get help.

Read moreWhat an absolutely wonderful team behind this store, came in today during our downtime before we picked up a cat from a shelter, was quite an emotional day for us, walked in and was immediately made to feel special by Leah behind the counter.
Leah served us with a smile and was attentive to our order, managed to make us our order with special requests and because my partner had just missed her birthday present gift, gave us a slice of tiffin on the house which made our day.
All I can say is this branch of Costa has been consistently amazing from its opening and I thoroughly recommend you go and share some love with their team, they will strive to give you a great experience like we had today.
