Many years ago my partner ordered a coffee after realising the gent using skimmed milk he politely asked for semi skimmed a female immediately snapped arguing it was not skimmed milk the young man serving said yes I am sure it was and the female replied donāt drink it then I will do a refund RUDE ! My partner was recovering from cancer just needed some chill time and a nice coffee ! Didnāt happen . He complained we discovered this female was the Store manager now Costa apologised on behalf of her and he received a Costa gift card and promised this would be dealt with and will never happen again ! SATURDAY 5th APRIL we stopped of for a coffee to my partner surprise there she was JASMIN in front of a store full of customers was intimidating my partner saying he was not welcome I had already paid for the coffees and cake and was told I could have a take out or a refund ! WOW I was shocked 2 customers walked out at the time whilst JASMIN was raising her voice I calmly said to her I will report you this is not professional her reply was heās tried that already Iām still here give it a go you will not get anywhere . So I have ! Hopefully Costa will look into this again ! This was an happier place when it was managed by Ross the cleanliness the atmosphere the staff looked happier in general back then . After placing our order and paying, we went and sat down at a table whilst we waited for our order to be made. We sat at the closest table to the service desk, close enough to hear the older women on the coffee machine say, "Since when did we start doing table service?". Understandably, she would have been unaware that we intended, as normal, to collect our coffees. However, I found it rude that she displayed such blatant disregard to customer service to allow her passive-aggressive frustration to be overheard by customers.
