Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

Went today had two ladies working in there, one was lovely, friendly and helpful , unfortunately the black haired woman was the totally opposite, had the expression that would turn the milk sour. My partner said excuse me when he had to stretch over her to get a bun ,she never acknowledged him and gave me a very dirty look. I don't know if it was because it was 20 mins until closing time but she started to behave like Basil Fawltey, banging the chairs and tables and making such a racket, didn't say thank you to a lady who opened the door for her, when she did serve a customer ,not once did she smile at them. She actually made us feel so uncomfortable that we hurried our food and drinks and left The simplest of things seemed to annoy her. Won't be going in there again. She needs some customer...

My wife and I popped in for a coffee and a toasted teacake. Staff were friendly and helpful. Teacakes were toasted go perfection d served with butter. Coffee was tasty and piping hot. Then it went downhill. Our visit was blighted by dirty tables. Most were empty. Around 5 people in the cafe. But there were dirty tables with crockery on the tables. So we moved an empty cup and saucer and sat. After clearing the tray, I set about buttering my teacake. The knife was dirty. Not water marks but dried on food debris. So I went to the counter and asked for a clean knife. They, staff, had to go through around 20 knives before a clean knife was found. After finishing our coffee and teacakes, I loaded up the tray to return it to the cleaning station. There were two other dirty and unloaded...

Natasha was so friendly, warm, professional and helpful. I wanted to pray in the lakeside prayer room and before this I need to do ablution/wash which causes splashes and strange looks in standard public toilets. Natasha was so accommodating and let me use the mop after my ablution in the private costa toilet. This meant alot to me. She re-heated my partner's green tea too and makes amazing hot chocolate. She is so helpful and an asset to her team. Her exceptional customer service and friendly attitude makes me want to return to this store.
