The staff here are always so cheerful and helpful. No matter how busy they are they treat each customer as special. It has a warm, friendly atmosphere and has become our first choice for a place to enjoy a drink and something to eat. It's one of the few places in Torquay which doesn't allow dogs. Guide dogs excepted of course. Since we're not keen on being surrounded by animals indoors it stands in a league of its own. I'm allergic to dogs which means 99% of cafes etc are not available to me. When I went to use the facilities, there were loads of empty boxes, advertising paraphernalia and junk left about the place. When one got to the loos, mostly they seemed suitable however the doors were filthy. Grease covered the area surrounding the door handle. FURTHER, I noticed that around the pin entry to the staff area, that door was equally filthy. It takes 5 seconds to wash a door on a daily basis as part of a cleaning routine.    Read moreAs a twice daily customer to Costa I was most put out after visiting the new Costa out by Aldi told theyâd shut 4.30) even though they had staff and it clearly stated they were open to 7pm then to go into town to the top Costa Torquay town centre to be dealt with poorly ordered a cake which I was told they canât serve after 4.45pm which just lazy if this was my first experience of costa I wouldnât go in again luckly for them they have a great Costa down the road where nothings too...
