Costa Coffee Malton Review

I recently visited Costa Coffee in Malton, and overall, it was a pleasant experience with a few areas for improvement.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere even though they were dealing with some minor issues with the tills. This didn't detract from the experience as it was handled professionally and efficiently.

The café itself has recently undergone a refurbishment, and the results are impressive. The space felt modern, clean, and inviting. The coffee, as expected from Costa, was spot-on – rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared.

However, there were a couple of minor inconveniences. The toilet seat was loose and kept sliding around, which was quite frustrating to deal with. Additionally, the tap in the bathroom had overly high pressure. Turning it on caused water to spray out of the sink, soaking me and the floor, which was a bit of an annoyance.

Despite these small issues, my visit was enjoyable, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return. Hopefully, these maintenance concerns will be addressed soon, as they are the only things holding back an otherwise great...

Costa Coffee has increased the price of every cup by 10p in 4 areas of the country, including my part of the world, while reducing the size of the cup by quite a large amount. As I understand it, this is being "trialled" but what's the betting it will be rolled out all over the country. The beauty of chain stores is you know what you are going to get and this Costa is no exception, the staff are friendly, the environment is clean, and the drinks are good.
