Creams Cafe Bedford — Restaurant in England

IF I COULD GIVE THIS REVIEW 0 STARS I WOULD!!! I am completely unsatisfied with the customer service that I received at your Bedford town centre branch. It was a Sunday at 4.00pm and delivery didn’t start until 5.30pm, So I decided that I didn’t want to wait this long as I had to have left the house by 6.00pm and so I would collect. I ordered Four Milk chocolate cookie dough’s with ice cream which came to a total of £28.30 and was told to collect at 5.10pm, which I was slightly annoyed about because the wait time on Just Eat had said 30-35 minutes, but I’d already ordered it. I’m not familiar to this area and so I was unaware that the street Cream’s is on is having roadworks carried out and so I had to find somewhere to park and ended up being ten minutes late to my collection time. When I arrived I told them that I was here for a collection and that id ordered four cookie doughs, however they hadn’t even made my order yet and I then had to wait a further 15 minutes for them to make it. One lady was making desserts with her mobile phone up to her ear, which is very unhygienic must I add as well as not looking very professional. I was then asked a second time what I had ordered after I’d already told them 5 minutes before. The girl that then made my desserts was very slow considering that I told them id ordered over and hour ago, I work in customer service and I know how frustrating it is when someone is rude to you, therefore I made sure I was not rude to them but I was seriously hacked off at this point. They gave me my order and I went home, I only live 8 minutes away and by the time I got home it was 5:40pm so I had to rush eating it and then leave straight away. To my absolute horror when I got into my car the seat where I had put the bag from creams was covered in a blue sticky bubble-gum sauce, my seats are suede and are very hard to clean and this bubble-gum sauce is extremely hard to get out and I’ve tried everything. I am very angry and extremely disappointed in the service that I received from your Bedford branch. I usually use your branch in Hemel and they are the loveliest people I have ever met, Bedford branch should be ashamed of themselves, if I hadn’t of used the Hemel Hempstead branch before and know how good they are I would not be stepping foot in a...

Oh. My. Lord! So dang yummy 😋

OK so we have always liked the options at creams, along with the super friendly, chilled atmosphere, but today has 100% been our favourite experience here!

Myself, hubby and our two girls came in for a summer holiday treat (always a popular decision 😌) Hubby popped to the nearby warhammer shop whilst we ordered.

Our youngest had: berry delight sundae and blue raspberry slush

Eldest had: 3 scoop shake - (all cookie dough ice cream) and a Sprite

I had: hot chocolate fudge cake with ice cream and a coke

We then ordered two portions of the popcorn chicken waffle bites (this is what made our day 🤤)

We all agreed that we'd happily hop on a bus from where we live to get the popcorn chicken waffle bites again! 😋

So juicy, sweet and savoury in perfect harmony. We had one portion with maple syrup, one with BBQ sauce. Even better!

All of our food was super delicious and didn't even set off my usual reaction to sweeteners! 😎

The staff were so lovely. From the moment we arrived, they addressed the children and not just the adults. This made my 11 year old physically stand taller ^_^ it makes such a difference to kids and we really appreciated it.

The atmosphere was really relaxed, staff were very tolerant and genuinely lovely about noise from younger children (which isn't always the case!)

Add in their super cute photo booth and it's a day out all by itself!
