Disappointing Visit After Years Away I visited Creams after a good few years, hoping to relive some fond memories but sadly, it was a major letdown. What was once a beloved dessert haven has really gone downhill. The store itself was run-down, with dirty floors and a generally neglected atmosphere. It didn’t feel welcoming or clean, which already put a damper on the visit. I ordered the vanilla cheesecake, but it was far from what you’d expect. The texture resembled curdled milk with a soggy base, and it had no flavour even the strawberry syrup couldn’t save it. What made the experience worse was the poor customer service. The staff lacked basic courtesy and didn’t seem to take any pride in their work. When I asked one of the employees about the drop in quality, I was told, “This store is a franchise — we can’t do much. Dear Creams, please take note: to run a successful business, customer satisfaction, good food, and a clean, welcoming environment are key. Sadly, none of that was present and it’s hard to see why anyone would want to return. Also how are you changing customers £2.95 for a bottle of water.

Creams is nestled in a prime location and is easily accessible. The inside is clean and spacious which provides a good sized seating area. The menu is vast and has a variety of desserts for all tastes and ages. The staff are friendly and helpful. We ordered the Strawberry and Banana Crepe with Salted Caramel Ice Cream and Fudge Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream. Both desserts were beautifully presented. I would have enjoyed the crepe more if it wasn’t completely soaked in chocolate sauce, which made the pancake soggy. However the Salted Caramel Ice Cream was a very tasty edition and cut through the sweetness of the chocolate. My friend didn’t think the Fudge Cake was anything special. Overall we didn’t have a bad experience. Would I go again? Yes but next time I shall try something less chocolatey!

This is probably the worst Creams Café I’ve visited in the entire UK. The service was extremely poor, and the store felt completely disorganised. Basic hygiene standards were not being followed, which is very concerning for a food establishment. Staff were more focused on chatting among themselves (in Urdu) than on fulfilling customer orders, which contributed to long wait times and an overall lack of professionalism. I had to wait far too long to collect my order, and it’s clear I’m not alone after reading other reviews, I can completely relate. Very disappointing experience. The customer service at this branch is truly unacceptable. I won’t be returning.

Have been a few times and never had a problem but today at lunchtime I took my friend here for a treaty lunch.. We arrived and someone (No idea where they were) shouted 'just take a seat' So we did and usually they will bring you a menu but they didn't so we hunted some down and then had to search for the high chairs as we had 2 toddlers with us. When I went to place my order I said 'I would like ice-cream with my waffle (you get a choice of ice cream or squirty cream) to which I was told ' machine is broken so you will have to have cream their is no choice today' I said ' My daughter has the icecream as she is only 2 and doesn' t like waffles and i am not about to give jer a bowl of squirty cream..You have other ice cream available' She responded with 'That's expensive ice cream and we cannot just give it away I told her that it isn't really my problem as it is not my fault the machine is not working and as such an alternative should be offered She relented and did what I requested. I also asked to buy a couple of wafers to go with the ice cream and she said I will include them at no cost.. I then told her that my friend will be ordering ice cream as well (her child is 2 also) and she said 'No problem'. When my order arrived everything was ok except no wafers and then my friends order arrived with squirty cream but no ice cream. We explained to the waitress what had been agreed and she flatly said 'No - we cannot do that. The machine is broken so no ice cream'..We again explained what was agreed and she demanded 'show me your receipt' and then walked off before we could show her.. I then went to the counter and the manager asked of everything was ok..I told him what had happened and he was not interested at all..! All he kept saying was 'Yeah..it was a nightmare last night cos the machine broke' In the end they brought my friends ice cream but again - No wafers so I went over and asked for them..I was met with cold stares but got them in the end. The manager then came over with 2 10% off cards (handed to everyone so we weren't special..!) And again told me about the 'nightmare they had last night I had had enough by this point and told him that it is no excuse for poor service and that the waitress was downright rude and needs to sort out her customer service.. He walked off without another word. Very...

I visited the creams store in Luton today (30th March) at around 7pm with my partner and 2 children who are 11 and 7. Whilst eating my waffle I bit down on a mouthful and hurt my teeth and gum on something hard. I took it out my mouth to find it was a white piece of hard, sharp, curved plastic. Thankfully I’m the one left with toothache and a cut gum and it wasn’t my child that choked on it or I dread to think of the consequences. I called a member of staff over and he took the plastic away and a member of staff called Diego came over to our table. He was extremely rude making comments such as “well what do you want me to do about it?” “I can’t fix your gum can I?” “There’s not a lot I can do about the fact you’ve hurt your teeth” etc. At this point my partner had to step in and remind him about customer service and the way he was speaking to us was not acceptable at all. The “customer service” we experienced tonight is a perfect example of what NOT to do!!!! The situation was not taken seriously what so ever, if the plastic had of been in our child’s desserts then it wouldn’t be the manager we’d be calling it would have been 999. We asked to speak to the manager and he said he was not able to contact them and that he was the highest ranked member of staff on shift. We asked for head office contact details and yet again was told he doesn’t know them or how to obtain them and advised to google it. To be completely honest he didn’t seem like he cared at all, not even offering an apology. To ensure the safety of our children we all stopped eating our desserts halfway through. I feel as though your staff urgently need some training on how to deal with customers, there is a definite “can’t be bothered” attitude, shown by Diego himself as he was standing by the kitchen flicking a cigarette lighter when we first walked into the establishment. Finally our order was refunded and yet again there was zero apology given at all. I have had increasingly painful toothache ever since the incident and have also scratched my gum. I’m frankly disgusted with the “service” we received...

Wanted to grab a quick milkshake and something to eat, I was disappointed within a few minutes of walking in. It took me and the person I was with about 5-10 minutes just to get seated. After picking what we wanted, it took us an extra 10 minutes just to get to the till, where we were informed it'd take a further 30 minutes to get food. We decided to settle on just getting a milkshake and a sundae, which ended up taking us 25 minutes to get anyway. The staff seemed inexperienced, as the person who seated us didn't have a clue to what he was on about, or how the place worked. He also kept stumbling over his own words. Eventually, when we got our food, we were further disappointed. The food was not worth the wait we had to go through. The food was bland and fairly simple, something that you could easily better at home (in a shorter amount of time.) The design of the food was rather annoying as well. The drink that I ordered, the "Choco Freeze Freakshake" was served in a melted puddle of its content, and the actual serving plate + the mason jar container was drenched in this chocolate-hazelnut sauce, similar to melted Nutella (but tasted a lot worse.) Not only was this sauce rediculously sticky, but it also ended up staining my clothes from the tiny bit that was dropped. The actual contents of the drink, a choco-hazelnut gelato and probably some sort of added cream, had separated inside the container. It ended up being this clump of rediculously thick cream, and some cream it was floating in. After I almost finished the drink, I found a few short, black hairs, which really put me off finishing it. The person I was with decided to get a Strawberry Cheesecake Banana Split, which they couldn't even eat for 15 minutes after getting it due to there being no available cutlery. Overall, it wasn't worth the time or effort we wasted there. The only thing that I actually found creditable there was the...
