Café 1 — Restaurant in England

If you are looking for homemade, fresh, wholesome, mouthwatering food then this is the place to go.

I can’t put a number on how long I’ve been eating at Cafe 1 but all I can say it’s ALWAYS been perfection.

The staff are wonderful (especially Robina) and not once have I had a bad experience. My favourite is definitely the full English Breakfast, Cheese Flan with chips & beans. I didn’t get the opportunity to sample the Roast dinner (served on Fridays only) but am looking forward to it in the near future. Heads up on getting there early or it’s gone!

Dare I say the desserts they serve will take you down memory lane. Back to school 80’s style. Absolutely delicious.

Had a lunch here & was super super impressed with the lady called Robina who served us. I'm severely allergic to Gluten so its super hard trying to find anything to eat. Let alone anyone who understands & can work around it. Robina surprisingly understood what the allergy was within seconds (which trust me is a rarity) double checking every ingredient for me bless her & recommended the chilli chips meal which was really tasty. The sister at the counter is absolutely lovely. I’ve never seen someone at a coffee shop as talkative and friendly as she is. They have good food and a welcoming atmosphere. I ordered a couple of sandwiches for my colleagues. They wanted a sandwich. She said the sandwiches would be dry with just a bit of chicken and cheese so she made it nice and tasty for them with a bit of extras. And the pricing is decent. I would go there again and again for a quick takeaway whilst at work! Or just to chill out with friends for an English breakfast. You keep Luton...
