SHARING FOR AWARENESS Whilst completing my job as a support worker with adults with learning disabilities we were asked to leave the premises The person I was supporting had ordered food and a drink and as her employee I didn’t . Whilst she was eating her meal we were asked to leave because I had not ordered food . We had to leave half a meal behind as we were told to leave immediately the lady I was support was sobbing as she couldn’t understand what was happening When My manager called later to discuss this She was told “it is not worth you sitting here when you only spend £1-60 “ it was actually £3.60 I need the table for customers who spend more The manager told me he did not care if the person was disabled and needed carers if they were not going to buy food they are not welcome Disgusting company with disgusting attitude towards people with disabilities this is in Northampton opposite the bus station I just want to add that apparently someone is saying we had been in there 3 times and didn’t order anything this was our very first time in this place and I would never step foot...

Be careful. This man here discriminated against me this afternoon. Told me that because I don’t look disabled then I’m not disabled. He also refused access to my Assistance dog. Apparently I have no disabilities. I’ve reported him for Hate crime etc. Just be careful, my day was going amazing until I came across him. Telling me there is nothing wrong with me. He doesn’t see any problems with me. He was so rude. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. So anyone with disabilities please be careful. He “doesn’t like dogs” “you aren’t disabled”. EVERYTHING IS CAUGHT ON VIDEO AND VOICE RECORD. And then he starts saying “she’s mentally unstable” but the reason I was upset was because he had discriminated against me and judged me based on how I look. I don’t want this to happen to another disabled person. And then I missed my medication and couldn’t get home in time for my support workers to give me my meds because it was a long incident. Cromwells is one of the best place that serves kebabs, fries, lasagna, coffee, desserts and many more. The staff specially an old chap Turkish is very very courteous and I can say because of his well behaved nature I have visited n number of times and had extremely good food here. In cold winter the food kebab with salad and chips was all time favourite it was served hot and with customised sauces on it ... think of it mouth watering and definitely on that cold never forgettable thing in life. As we enter the door has heaters and you place an order warming urself.Though its small place of 5 table but its prime location just opposite to Northampton bus station and next to Bounds Taxi. The price of food is very reasonable.Takeaway is also available. Yeah one more is the music played is Turkish music and its really awesome. Must must try place...
