The Bear — Restaurant in England

So not been out for nearly two years first time going in was spoken rudly by the lady manager, as I have not been in a pub since the pandemic I asked a friend how it worked do we sit and wait or go to the bar etc.... She overheard and sharply said sit down you haven't even been logged in yet.
