My recent visit to Da Nunzio, an enchanting Italian cafe, was a delightful journey into authentic Italian cafe . The star of the show was their exquisite charcuterie plate, which featured a selection of expertly curated items - notably, the buratina, salami, and mortadella.
The buratina was a revelation, with its soft, creamy texture and rich flavors providing a perfect counterpoint to the cured meats. The salami was robust and perfectly seasoned, while the mortadella was smooth, delicate, and packed with subtle, savory notes. Each element of the dish complemented the others beautifully, creating a harmonious blend of textures and tastes.
The presentation of the plate was a visual treat - simple yet elegant, embodying the Italian philosophy of emphasizing quality ingredients. The attention to detail in the arrangement spoke volumes about the care and passion that goes into every dish at Da Nunzio.
Service was prompt and courteous, with the staff displaying a genuine warmth and knowledge of their offerings, particularly when suggesting wine pairings that would complement the charcuterie.
In terms of value, Da Nunzio offers a fantastic experience that's well worth the investment. It's a cozy corner of Italy where the quality of the food justifies the price, making it a great choice for both casual and special occasions.
In summary, Da Nunzio is a gem for anyone seeking an authentic Italian charcuterie experience. The combination of buratina, salami, and mortadella on the plate was exceptional and memorable. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to explore more of their...
Read moreI went there with a friend for breakfast on Saturday morning, and yes, it's a nice place—clean, and you can buy some charcuterie and products from Italy.
However, I asked the guy who was there if he could make a sandwich without the salami, as I cannot eat pork due to allergies. He offered me a similar one without the salami but with balsamic vinegar, which I'm simply not used to having in the morning. For that reason, I asked him if he could make me a different sandwich, but he said it was too busy on Saturdays, even though it was around 9 am and my friend and I were the only ones there. I would have accepted that answer if the place had been actually crowded, but it wasn't.
Also, any other place would have made the sandwich, but anyways. Instead, I had a tiramisu and a cannoli, both of which were tasty.
My friend had a sandwich and said it was really good and...

The cannolis have the perfect balance of crispness and creaminess, with a filling that is rich and indulgent yet not overly sweet. The variety of pastries is impressive, each one beautifully crafted and bursting with flavour.
What made the experience even better was the exceptional customer service. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel truly welcomed. They were more than happy to provide recommendations and made sure that my visit was nothing short of perfect.
