Daisy-Mae's Vintage Tearoom — Restaurant in England

We visited the tearooms about a month ago without our children, disabled son and his carer. The food was lovely and well priced. We all purchased a meal and drinks, except with our son having very specific eating requirements, we purchased him soup and bread from the cafe and we took his own dessert. Unfortunately we were asked not to attend the restaurant with our own food again, which we will respect. I do wonder though if the owner should consider that despite spending over £40 in meals from the cafe, was it worth asking us to not do that anymore and loosing our business forever? I didn’t think with purchasing the majority of our food and drink at the cafe, that a dessert for my son would be such an issue. It is a shame that this one request will mean we can no longer visit...

Lovely range of homemade food. Sat outside as had my dog with me but a bowl with water was provided nearby for pets. My daughter loved the dark hot chocolate and said it tastes as good as the one at Betty's tea room in York. She's only 1w but loved the vintage feel to the place. Food was lovely and I bought some of the red onion chutney to take home as I'd had it in my toastie and loved it. Also bought passion fruit curd and a jam. Great range of quality teas on offer, cakes are all freshly baked - I saw and smelled them straight from the oven. The coffee and cream was lovely. Staff very accommodating and courteous. Although this didn't apply to me, it's worth noting that the cafe is breast feeding friendly and Dementia friendly. It also seemed popular...

Called in 28th Feb as we passed through in our camper. We received a lovely happy welcome. The place was nice and warm and super clean. Husband has proper hot chocolate and a cheese scone I had cappuccino with oat milk, my milk allergy was take seriously and was heated on a different frother to dairy milk, everything was delicious. We saw lots of people having afternoon tea and I can honestly say the plates looked generously filled and everyone was loving the selection. We will definitely go back . Well...
