District Bar — Restaurant in England

The is a lovely and intimate small bar which has a great independent vibe. There’s seating and tables in a covered section outside and inside there’s a nice number of small tables given the compact size of the place, and some sweet cushions on the two window sills.

There’s a good cocktail menu and some decent options of draught too, all at reasonable prices. Cocktails are prepared and presented well and while there’s no background music the atmosphere is lovely for catching up with close friends.

I had a pint of German Pilsner Beer which wasn’t very good. Consequently, I then ordered a large Erdinger wheat beer which was very unpleasant. I spoke to the girl behind the bar and pointed that the beer is “off”, she did not respond. I only drank half of it. I felt aggrieved that I paid over £12 for two bad beers especially the Erdinger. As a consequence I will not be rushing back, I am currently on holiday...

I visited district on a Sunday night for the odd drink and I can say that I met the most amazing people in this bar! The atmosphere was amazing, the vibe was incredible and the staff were fabulous.
