This visit was in Sept 2024, mid week. The pub lies around 200 metres off the sea front and easy to find. The entrance is not at street level, as long as you can manage a step or two, you're fine. The bar is well stocked but is a local pub and not a tourist pub. The staff are efficient and next to no waiting time. I have no issues with beers and enjoyed a pint or two. They have offers on and when I called, you could get a pint (Carlsberg or John Smith) for a little over £2 !! The décor is, olde world, coronation/WW2 style and fixtures and fittings showing more than average wear and tear. Toilets are a little behind the times and need a full refurbish as these also resemble the London underground wall tiles from 1940. They do provide some kind of entertainment and on the afternoon I visited it was - sorry to be blunt - diabolical. At first we thought it was Karaoke which turned out to be a singer. It was so loud the walls shook in this small pub. There was no escape and there were a few complaints, as such, people left. There are multiple large TV's (not HD quality), a pool table (unable to play due to locals hogging it), a dart board and really resembled a workman's club from 1980. Not everyone's cup of tea but for the drinks price, worth a visit.

Excellent for people with sports interests. 7 tvs and I think different sport on each. This is daytime not night however. But shock of shocks when I paid for my carlsburg. At £2.50 a pint. 😳. Wow I did a double take " HOW MUCH "????. Dog friendly. Glad I found this place . I will be here again. Next time I visit Blackpool.

Great pub. Really welcoming feel. I was asked to join the darts team on my first visit... They needed another player or the forfeit 😁,. Usual line up of green king beers. Cheapest pint of Peroni? This pub feels the most mature of the pubs in this section of Lytham road that's not a bad thing.

The Dog & Partridge in Blackpool is a friendly, local pub ??? Is this why the landlord and land lady used threatening behaviour is it?? I wonder if it was because England had lost the match or what. Me and my family spent our money there, was told we had to pay 2 pound to have a go on the snooker table and that's only IF we beat the locals. Am sorry but I thought u spent your money in a pub to enjoy yourselves and use the faciltites!!. My son who's a happy boy was having a laugh with friends to be told he wasn't allowed another beer for and I quote "being a nuisance" Never once did he say a bad word just "Laughing" with his friends. we decided to leave. On my way out I politley asked behind the bar why wasn't he served?? (I might add he had just finished work and had ONE Pint) to instantly be set upon by the landlord and his wife who took her jacket off to hit me.??? Never in my life have I seen such disgusting childish behaviour in my life. I challenge u to get cctv with one piece of bad behaviour from us!!!.. So friendly local pub??????? NO FURTHEST FROM IT!. I will be putting in a complaint. Myself or my family or not being threatened like that by no one.! So my review is. STAY AWAY...

Just went to the dog and partridge with my friends and family for several beverages and I must say it's so friendly with excellent staff with the manager lou being an angel delight, friendly and welcoming and even put my football match on for me. Classy establishment with fantastic locals and its the best pub I've been to since London...visit if you can as clean and so so so reasonable less than £3 pint. Love it and going back for sure. Ryan

Ps andy Ronston your review is a joke... yes there was music and yes maybe I didn't like all the songs but overall everyone was entertained and if you didn't like the music the area is full of other establishments including cafes..... very odd comments but hey ho I loved it there going...
