I have been a couple of times to the Royal Oak. First impressions can put you off, but stick with it, it is worth it. Definitely a locals pub, but does get some tourists. Very big pub that is family run with very little Bat staff. Once someone starts chatting to you you relax. They make me feel welcome, even after I won a few quid on the bandit
Doesn't really serve but they do share with customers if one of the pub's teams are playing. Good selection of beers and lagers at some of the cheapest prices that I have seen in Blackpool.
I am disabled and a wheelchair user and the access is great and people are helpful. The disabled toilet was spotless, well equipped and not used as a junk room.

The regulars are a great bunch of characters and make it a great place for people watching. Beer is the usuals thats priced at a friendly level.
